farce poobah
I wouldn't be surprised or sad one bit. He's just scared witless because he'd face the Sioux at least 4 times next season.
redwing77
End of 1: RIT 1 Canisius 0 In case you're wondering: * I have no idea how this affects the Pairwise * I am really bored. I have 5 large riding on.... No, I'm not caring. Although I know the feeling. I watched the Army vs. Air Force hockey game. SNOOOOOZEFEST! Re: Turris - Wouldn't be surprised either. For a one year stopover, I actually think UW was a good choice for Turris. He knows he's good offensively. At UW, he can forget about offense and concentrate on UW's one trick pony: defense. redwing77
I yearn for the day a brawl breaks out at a service academy game. Would that be considered a brawl? I'd probably term it a "skirmish" or perhaps a "battle" or even a "hand to hand engagement."

siouxfan123
Another random fact for all of you hockey fans, it looks like Ohio State chose the Nike Swift jersey for their away games at least. Other then UND and tOhio State, who else has chosen the Swift jerseys?
farce poobah
mankato vs uaa - on cable in minnesota again tonight 0-0 early, but some great chances both ways ...
Sioux-cia
I yearn for the day a brawl breaks out at a service academy game. I can just imagine it, Storm troopers swarming the ice in their black and white stripped uniforms, automatic rifles at the ready, fans in the stands screaming, running in all directions, looking for the exits. In the midst of all the chaos, the coaches stand firm, arms crossed, no fingers peaking out from clenched fists, square jaws set, with a blink of an eye, the rabble rousers are..... Televisions across the country go black.

farce poobah
OLE!! OLEOLEOLE!! OLE!! OLEOLEOLE!! Mankato 1 UAA 0 Harrison breaks the ice with 2: left in the first ... After seeing a bunch of MSU lately, they have just enough snipers to be dangerous. And while Zacharias continues to do well in goal, they could be anyone on any given night. Siouxdonyms
Would that be considered a brawl? I'd probably term it a "skirmish" or perhaps a "battle" or even a "hand to hand engagement." They don't teach the Air Force cadets hand to hand combat. They put mints on their pillows and tuck them into bed every night!

Other then UND and tOhio State, who else has chosen the Swift jerseys? They debuted last season for these teams: Cornell, Denver, Maine, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Ohio State I'm not sure if they were made available to any additional schools this year. http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/7Archiv...update_0513.htm Second article down. farce poobah
The DU-MN game should be real interesting - Barriball is out, as is Ruegsegger. First one to 1 wins?

farce poobah
By winning do you mean the famous goofer moral victories? Yeah, that's what I meant. Mankato up 2-0. Breakaway. UAA skating with them, but Mankato finished on 2 chances.

farce poobah
How come? Reportedly, Barriball with a walking cast. Ruegsegger is injured. What offense these teams had seems to be dwindling fast. I love how DU's white uniforms look like Team Canada. Maybe a shot at Minnesota? Was Ruegsegger's injury the one from last week in Mankato (spear to the stomach I think?)
BigGreyAnt41
Was Ruegsegger's injury the one from last week in Mankato (spear to the stomach I think?) Don't think so. They're talking about it as if he played last night, but isn't tonight.
farce poobah
DU with a text book power play. All kinds of bring-it-to-the-net, with sharp passes and nice puck movement. But, its still 0-0. 6: in.
Tsiouxnami
Sounds like Barriball had some sort of odd collision last night that resulted in him limping off the ice and leaving the rink in a walking cast.

BigGreyAnt41
Gopher announcers complaining about the Gopher players not playing as well since coming back from the World Juniors. Should we look at Toews's stats after he came back?
