Stumbled upon these somehow....that "hawk" is interesting. Certainly not your typical college hawk. My favorite is the Nodaks logo, lotta time and effort into that one -

So if it's indeed an acronym it's HAWKS, not Hawks

These takes on the ATL Hawks logo are my favorite. Simple. Crisp. I can only imagine the new UND logo would be either a) a hawk head or b) a hawk in that position where it's going to attack something, with it's wings spread and talons out and ready. Like EWU's, only green

Looked like way better than last night! Last night seemed to give the team a kick in the pants that they probably needed. For me, anyway, there were waaay less palm to face moments like, "Shouldve connected with that pass," or "Should've out skated that guy," maybe "No way that goal should've happened"

North Dakota was ruled off the table a while back, not sure if anyone got the memo. So no, we won't be the "North Dakota North Dakota." Nodaks is a sort of "nickname," if you will, for the fine, hardworking, dedicated, spirited people of the Great State of North Dakota. If our name is Nodaks, what announcer will then call us the North Dakota's? None, because that won't be our nickname. Dunzo. Over. Finished. End of discussion. Not that I support Nodaks this time around. Just get up outta here with that crazy, wack Fighting Hawk stuff
