You wanna know why no one talked about the Braves nickname? (Or the Bobcat nickname, for that matter) Because QU was totally and completely IRRELEVANT in the state until 2012. Take a seat behind UConn and Yale, BobKitties. Comparing the support for the Braves name and the Fighting Sioux name, to me, is totally apples and oranges. Fighting Sioux goes waaaaaaaay back and has a championship history to back it up. Braves didn't. End of discussion, Jon.

It was, as @nodakvindy pointed out, Syracuse University hosting an AHL game between the Syracuse Crunch and Utica Comets at the Carrier Dome. The event was called the "Frozen Dome" and it was honestly really cool! Wish I could've gone! As far as I could tell that was the first hockey game, or at least big hockey game, at the Dome and that is awesome!!! Dome has been home to many greats like.....well...idk how many you guys would know....how about Donovan McNabb? So the only way our boys in Green will play in that venue is if Syracuse get's their s**t together and forms a program! Don't tell me Syracuse people don't care about hockey, because the attendance in that picture is equal to Cuse vs Villanova, UConn, Georgetown, Duke, you name it. I'll fight my entire life for a North Dakota vs. Syracuse men's hockey game. It will happen, so help me god. But yea, anyway, Alerus would be fun to see a game played but if there are better venues then they should get the bid...Oh well!

I guess I'm just not grasping the whole pirate thing Makes zero sense to me, but I love it to the moon and back. I especially LOVE the fact that QU looks like a fraternity picture with their polo's, shorts and sandals. Denver with the polo's as well, and hopefully not shorts but can't tell. BC is horrible, may they lose every game from now till forever. UND taking it to all of them just ooooooozing with class. Dripping high class on that tarmac, pirates and all.

The team posing with pirates in Tampa, FL next to a 737 is so out of this world, so mind bottling, so Tampa, it's insane. Just wild, wild stuff we're getting from the Frozen Four. I love it.
