Stitt's ass has been on the line since losing to a terrible MSU team last year. This was his make or break year, and they failed to make the playoffs and lost to MSU again. This next season is Bubba's make or break year. The difference in the two year difference between make or break seasons is, again, the difference between the team Stitt took over for and the team Bubba took over for.
-
The Montana team that Stitt took over wasn't quite the same team that Mussman left Bubba with.

I'm so glad that Bison fans find a way to monitor every thread on this forum and are able to defend themselves every chance they get.

The 5 minute was harsh, but it was absolutely a penalty. With the weak elbow he took on Friday, he should have recognized how the game was being called and adjusted his play. He didn't and put the team in tough spots often. Players have to adjust to how the game is being called.
-
Nothing wrong with a little adversity for a young team early in the season.
-
Okay? What does that have to do with Smith taking 5 penalties over the course of 4 periods?
-
Doesn't matter how bs it is. He was more of a liability this weekend than an asset. He needs to figure it out.
-
Some of us need to just relax a little. The officiating was absolute horrid tonight, but the boys played pretty well most of the weekend. Plenty of reasons to be optimistic moving forward. The team needs to worry about what they can control. Scoring one goal on the road (albeit, probably should have been two) is not enough to beat the #1 team in the nation. We also need to stay out the box. I get that some of the calls tonight were absolutely weak, but Smith taking five penalties on the weekend is not what this team needs. Move on to Union, which could be two very important games.

Really?
-
For sure a penalty. Five is harsh. Officials probably handcuffed due to the player getting injured.
-
Gone. Has to be. Anybody who comes on here to defend him is just trolling. He's completely useless.
-
Exactly my point. If we have to pass our way back into the game then we need to line John out wide and use him. Relying on Carr to be our "burner" is just something that isn't going to work.
-
The defense today gave us every chance to win this game. Our three best players on offense (Santiago, Oliveira, and Johannesson) touched the ball maybe once in the 4th quarter. If you don't think Rudolph is a problem, then you can leave with him. He has to go.
-
An offense with a little bit of tempo and we end up in the end zone. Weird.

It's a shame that the number of posts on a public forum determine how big of a fan you are.
-
So who in this instance isn't knowledgeable?
-
Nope.
-
A penalty shot call there would have been just as pathetic.
-
A troll? Because I'm not as biased as you? Okay.
-
I agree that inconsistency is a huge problem in officiating, but those plays weren't the same.
-
First one was called correctly for a penalty shot, second one was a good no call and a great play by the d-man
-
I heard Boltmann is the second best as well.
-
Or we can bend over and just keep taking it.
-
Please go for it. Nothing to lose.
