Not blaming Neuer for it at all. Just highlighting another area where the German coach made some poor team selections. Neuer hardly played at all this season and ter Stegen stepped up and is in my opinion the best goalie in the world. There is also no excuse for Leroy Sane not being on the team.

Neuer should have never been the starting goalie for them. ter Stegen had a fantastic season with Barcelona.

The same can be said about pretty much every sport. Especially hockey.

You can make an argument that hockey isn't even a top 5 program for girls in this state.(Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Softball, Track)

Number 10 on that list isn't wrong. Yes girls hockey participation has increased but the sport of hockey itself is not popular. Grand Forks is considered to be a hockey hotbed in this country yet the women's program was incredibly unpopular. If it couldn't work here, it will not work pretty much anywhere else. Has participation increased? Yes. Is the sport's popularity and growth skyrocketing? No.

He should have provided some context and allowed the readers themselves to form their own opinions on the matter. That is good reporting. Instead he provides almost no context. IMO it's lazy and was only written to stir the pot.

In no way am I attacking him as a person. I am attacking him as a reporter because this isn't the first time that he has written an article with very little context just to try and create a reaction. Its lazy.

No, it's only written because the Herald and Schloss have an agenda against UND ever since they cut women's hockey. This was written with the intention of being divisive.

I always tell myself I'm going to try something new but I can't. The chicken citrus bowl is just too good.
