Why would the Mets ever want him if he wasn't a big time player? Has he been cold at the plate to start the year? Sure. But if you think any team would trade away a superstar like him 2 months into the season then maybe baseball isn't for you.

It's definitely possible. I think it's more likely that they live extremely sad and pathetic lives so they come on here to try to get others to feel the same way they do.

It's not nearly as rare as you think. This might come as a shock but coaches make decisions all the time based on stuff other than just money. But please don't let any of that get in the way of you always assuming the worst.
