They are waiting to get their new facility built too. Mo St is not typically a top 10 team, we will see if they are one this weekend

They have a pretty legendary coach that is trying to recruit every FBS transfer in the country. We will find out this weekend if they are really a top 10 team!

The UND/ NDSU game in Fargo sold out first, not the SDSU “rival game” Ag U can pretend they are better than us but they have to play us every year intil they find somewhere to move up!

What sizes you have? They screen printed or stitched patches?

Much better than the current jerseys in my opinion. I don’t mind the hawks in letters but I think putting the logo on the front ruins it.

Parents of the players love what Bubba has going on at UND. Like it or not it’s not all about winning……

Well they have done better than UND teams. Bison Dan is a tool but he’s king of right on this point. Their SB and BB teams make the national tourney multiple years. Their BB team has made the big dance a couple of years. I think their track and wrestling isn’t too bad, but that’s about where it ends.

It could be worse if we had hired Bob Neilson…….

Pretty sad the biggest team in the state is a D2 program….. embarrassing to all the other D1 sports……

Which top 10 FCS program has worse facilities than UND? Maybe some top 25…

It sure would be nice to find the next DaBoer. No doubting what he accomplished. I just don’t think most guys could succeed like he did given the same situation. For example: Matt Entz or even Tyler Roehl. Both on NDSU fans !@#$ list right now

Never said UND is not an elite program but they sure haven’t been winning like an elite program. Hockey has no excuses for not making the frozen four more often and bringing home national championships. I would take zero draft picks if I could have another national championship. I’m tired of these other moral victories that we try to hang our hat on.

I am critical of the hockey program because I am tired of them under performing with the top resources and facilities in the country. 1 title in over 2 decades is frustrating to say the least. I could care less what happens in the regular season, I (We) want national championships!!! Why should I be ok with less? why would I hold the football team to the same high standard when they have a fraction of the support (fans and $$$$) as the hockey team. I am just as disappointed when the football team has a losing season and misses the playoffs, I just don’t expect them to win it all with what they have. I would love to see football titles one day and get that program to the level of hockey. Yes maybe a coaching change would help , but I don’t think that is the only solution it will take. I also realize making a change right now won’t happen with contracts so why not make dues with what we have and continue to cheer on our football team win or lose. I sure as hell am jealous of what NDSU has done over the past decade and we should all strive for what they have accomplished because none of our programs are at that dynasty level…. Tough pill for many of you to swallow and hear I know.

Why would that eat at me when I am one of those 15k???? I have probably been to more road hockey games than to games in GF for the last few years. Heck I’ve been to more hockey games than football too. I can be critical of all teams and still support ALL of them. bragging about 15k UND hockey fans to UND fans is pretty pathetic……. All while Ag U fans laugh at all of us when they fill US Bank stadium with 40k+ fans……..

So a hockey fan came on a football thread for the first time this season to tear down Bubba and the FB program. That sure is interesting that these are you first comments……. you are part of the problem!

Honestly I could care less about the Penrose banners!!! I’d trade all of them for just one national championship. If you think winning Penrose cups makes you elite then I guess you don’t expect them to win it all! Is 12 drafted players that good? What was it under Hak? You are honestly starting to sound like a womens hockey program closet supporter!!!! But but but Olympians!!!!!

If Bubba had the elite resources that Ag U has then he could probably win one title every 9 years too. Ag U still wins titles even with the worst coach they have had since before Bohl……
