I think that's right, the staff felt better with our outside backers on the field compared to bringing in another safety or corner.

we need another element to the d package when teams go pass happy, yes, but mostly we need to work on positioning and ball skills. A lot of times we were really close, just need to win more 1 on 1 battles.

have to get better at defending the pass, need our corners to grow up or replace. Our pass defense was still a glaring weakness, look at all the losses, it was from passing. Reyes is a stud tackler, needs to improve in the pass game. We still have a glaring weakness at free safety and need more depth in the secondary to have a competent nickel package.

SDSU has a backup field that holds 10,000. UNI dome holds much more, but maybe SDSU still bid higher $$. Just a guess, but I think we have enough teams covered to host.......like a S. Utah. We are all experts you know-
