  1. I am puzzled, too. Why do we play to keep it close instead of having a game plan that if we failed and lost, at least we went down swinging? Why play "our" style of ball, and ignore the stacked talent at RB? Final examination is every Saturday in college football, and 30,000 viewers just witnessed a turtle in it's shell face a decent, but not great Montana team. Regardless of home towns, years on the team, even GPA, performance and leadership on the field needs to decide playing time. Each scholarship should be an annual commitment that can go up to full, down to zero, or remain the same based on productive value to the team. You can have a program based on performance while still caring and being passionate about the well being of the players, coaching staff, and University.
  2. Can this be linked?
  3. 1st FG in OT missed by SU, but of course a time out by Youngstown and it didn't count. Never fails!!

  6. Zeus, Greek God. Obviously, I didn't name him, just adopted.
  7. No, Griz are junk. A good team would be up 50 on us.
  8. Good one. Zues actually.
  9. I adopted a silver lab today, he has been really good, fitting in nicely with my black lab named "Hawk".

  11. 2 guys running free with 1 safety deep.... seriously??
  12. 3 points vrs 5 three and outs. Close contest.
  13. Our longest play of the day.
  14. Should we punt on 1st down before we give up a TD by the offense?
  15. Will we have more points or more 3 and outs today?
  16. You are lucky.
  17. I agree. Let's go down swinging without Studs. But, we won't. We will play to not get blown out, which will result in getting blown out.
  18. I foresee a dagger, right to our hearts.
  19. Directv Now - Free trial Then Audience network has Roots Sports? This work for anyone yet?
  20. 13,300 is fire code capacity, will have to sell 1,000 GA standing tickets. This will be a challenge. If our student body participation was that of "Michigan", around 30%, we'd be at or higher than 13,300.
  21. Do you have something against people volunteering their time to atleast try to make things better? Should we not donate to charities, too, or is that OK with you?
  22. I don't like the comparison that others are making, I was adding some perspective to the numbers, UND vrs. Michigan. What UND lacks in big time FBS atmosphere can be mitigated by a sense of community and pride. Based on the percentages I feel we have room to improve. Student tailgating has been wild, but need more in the game. Overselling the student GA section will help for 2018. Maybe we need a student committee so it becomes 'their' idea.
  23. If we are going to look at Michigan and Alabama.......let's at least get the percentages established. UND has 2,000 student seats for 14,223 enrollment (I subtracted the 3 druggies kicked off the team and I did take off players, band, and cheer members, estimated total 183) 4th quarter had 400 students out of 14,223 or 2.81% (if you're a 1%er you probably killed someone, that's how elite this low of a percentage is) of the student base stayed for the entire game. At 2,000 that's only 14.06% of the student base. However, the most that have entered each game is closer to 11%. Michigan has a 2016 enrollment of 44,718. Their student section was as high as 21,000 in 2012, but is down to 14,000 today. So 31% to 47% of the student base attend Michigan games. Alabama has.......ran out of time.......but the point is, even at full UND student section capacity of 2,000 we are asking less than half of what Michigan gets, or less than a third of Michigan at it's peak.
  24. I would trade the Nickel for 1 of those at FCS level........
