I think you're mostly right but when one of your players busts free and goes in for an easy 2 point lay-in but tries to showboat and "SLAM IT" and totally blows it then hangs on the rim and gets called for it and the COACH BLOWS UP at the refs? WTF! You're the COACH! Get in your players face and roast HIM!!! That wasn't on the official that was on the player. Sather almost got a technical which would have been twice as worse....that's the problem...misdirected "coaching/anger" YOUR GUYS DO MAKE MISTAKES! Your job as coach is to correct that - end of story!

Saw it on the menu but wasn't brave enough to take a chance - what is that? If you're eating there the chicken tandoori is amazing! (chicken legs done on a tandoori charcoal grill) They come out on a sizzling hot plate with onions - squeeze some fresh lemon over and you can thank me later. You can get it as an app or part of a kebab with Tikki Masala (order it extra spicy!) Only disappointment has been the Gobi Manchurian - not quite there from other indian places I've tried.

PS - the ghost ship of the old Italian Moon with a parking lot full of snow and the shredding signage looks really pathetic - just my opinion. Hurts my GF soul...can someone please buy that and turn it into a bank or car wash? Seems like that's what we do these days

damn I miss Jack that did the fried chicken special on wednesdays - that was fantastic home fried chicken. Went to Ground Round last night and had Gam's Chinese for one of the last times. Brought up lots of Shangra La comfort food memories and his hot mustard cleaned my sinuses out UNTIL MAY! Hate that we have lost or are losing these classic GF foods with few new options. So that was what they call "New Haven" pizza - thin stretched crust slightly charred with not a ton of ingredients but slices, not shreded mozz like a Duane's Pizza - is that what it was? A House of Duane's sausage, ground beef and green olives is to f*cking die for and one of my few reasons to go to Fargo - hoping Surly's is like that?

Take a look at the kitchen next time you're in Qdoba (and the floor). REALLY disgusting and the food was slapped together and sucked. Employees are zombies and could someone go out and wipe down the tables once every 3 hours or so? idk but we're OUT going there after our last experience.

The guy that has Chino has an amazing story of landing in the US with no money and working at McDonalds for basically food and after working his *ss off with a few breaks realized the American dream of owning his own restaurant in the shadow of the place he used to work, A real success story for a genuinely nice guy! I've met him and he's very grateful for the success he's found in his new country. Not sure what your bone is about the people trying to open the churro shop but you're coming across as a Grade A JERK so KNOCK IT OFF! Maybe we should look into your business and judge you? For me - I'll go to Chino and throw him some support in his tough time. His food is great and he deserves it. I hope other members here will do the same!

Korean FirePot has officially opened on Columbia - eager to give them a shot but the menu looks like a complicated mess. Drove by tonight and gas is still ONLY $2.63 a gallon at Gateway and I-29. CHEAPEST GAS IN GF! TSA Truckstop and Simonson's are the same. I buy at Simonson's because I like to buy local and I'm pretty sure it galls the HELL out of him to have to match a national truckstop when he's charging 15 to 20 cents more a gallon at all his other stations around town. I'd feel worse is he didn't act like he was the godfather of GF gas prices all these years. If he charged $2.63 at every one of his stations around town but he doesn't. 10-15 cents more at a station just a mile or two away...really?

I'll give the Spud Jr. guys credit - they opened and Covid hit - remember they delivered TP with food orders to survive and they did! Years after, they found a niche at their place in EGF - again perseverance. Now they're moving across the river and making plans to succeed - the old opera house is such a great space it needs to be a part of downtown GF so best of luck to them as they make plans!! I'm IN!

What did the Mn. Gov have to do with this? The company that won the commercial WEED franchise for EGF wants a nice shiny commercial building right downtown and they got it! This will ONLY make downtown EGF a vacation hit! (LITERALLY) Just roll into the state park and GO EXPLORE! Go do some shopping at Cabelas or cross the bridge to GF for more eclectic finds. STILL BORED? Go see a movie at the local theatre! Lots of local restaurants and bars at easy access on both sides of the river and HELLO! A weed store so you can stoke up at your convenience and keep bumbling around having fun. F*cking BRILLIANT for tourism I'd say! SiouxFan can go clutch his pearl necklace next to the Greenway - this will be FUN!
