No matter what the score, I’m sure we probably will miss an extra point, just to raise my anxiety level worrying the rest of the game that the missed extra point will come back to haunt us.

I hear you there, that is why I said minus those first two drives In our first two games of the season, it sucked giving up easy early drives. Yet at the same time it was nice to see them respond. We need to weather the storm early against JMU. I'd take 0-0 score at the end of first quarter!

That was my thoughts, we have to have an SDSU type of game. I'd say JMU is and should be the favorites, they've been better historically, played in many big games, we've had our issues on the road etc.. But....we did beat the top seed by 10 points. That game was at home though, and we caught a break when they dropped what would have been their second TD. That said, we bounced back, stuffed the run for the most part, and played very solid. We have to replicate that type of performance (minus giving them those first two easy drives). We did win our first playoff game, but there are many others from other fan bases thinking and hoping we will just get crushed this weekend. A win here would be huge for confidence and overall program perception. If we play a very good game and we get beat, I will of course be very disappointed, but could accept it. I will be completely pissed though if we go in there and crap the bed and give a performance like we did against Nichols. That just cannot happen this time. I want to see them playing with fire and a lot of desire. If they can't get up for this game, there is no hope.

I’ll be watching from a Casino in Laughlin NV, the game will determine my mood too for the rest of the night. Will be drinks of sorrow or drinks of joy....hop it’s the later!

Sounds like the deadline is May 1st to enter the portal. He could have waited for two more games, but it would probably look even worse to enter the portal after you just won two playoff games and have a Semi-final game coming up. Actually turns out the 2nd round game is on May 2nd, so likely after the deadline. Rather he did it when he did, than after the playoffs started. At least Kilty got the reps and has one game under his belt now as the starter. I hope Danny is keeping Quincy involved, if Quincy hasn't done it yet...would think we are safe from him entering the Portal before Saturday.

As much as the NDSU game was rough watching us on offense for a fair amount of it, and even though JMU will certainly be watching what NDSU did, at least Danny now should have a better plan to adjust should we get into a funk on offense. Time for Danny to have his best game! No reverses deep in the red zone either, unless of course it works

What NDSU likes to call their most famous 'drive' in school history....the one against Kstate at the end of the game for the win, Jensen didn't complete or even attempt a pass more than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. Jensen was an effective runner though.
