I may be overly optimistic but I really like these line combinations and D pairs. We will need goaltending to come around but I thought Helsten was very solid once he settled in in the 2nd and 3rd. We overcame two 2 goal deficits and Blakes goal should have counted as how the rule reads. Berry needs to stick with last night's lineup barring injuries imo.

We're sitting about where Denver was at this time last year. I might be the only one who thinks this but I think we turned the corner in our season in the 2nd period last night. Just don't mess with these line and D pairings barring injury and we should get the ship righted soon.

I tend to disagree. I see a light at the end of the tunnel after this game. We have some line combos now that show chemistry if Berry doesn't put the forwards names in the hat again to draw lines. Bast looked good along with most of the rest of the defense excluding a couple D. Think the Beaver gets pounded tonight.

If we keep playing like we did in the 2nd and 3rd things could turn around for us. The line of Gaber Mac and Blake were beasts. I think the 2nd and 3rd peiods of this game will be pivotal to us turning things around. Karl must have put these lines together for this game love the lines.

5 on 5 ots I mean no more 3 on 3

Better yet play ots until one team scores and give all points to winning team. now that would be exciting.

I prefer going back to 5 on 5 ot and end in tie if noone scores and give all the points to team that wins in ot.

It takes time for the game to slow down for goaltenders. Give Helsten more net time and I think he'll just get better and better. Desiev should already be past the point of the game slowing down. I say we give Helsten the net and ride with him.

Yes barring injuries. I thought our D pairings were good too especially Bast. Kleven got walked though.

If Berry mixes up the lines after tonight's game I'm gonna scream

Aside from the tie I say don't change a thing from tonights lineup barring injuries and I think things will straighten out.

I thought a minor penalty was not reviewable. Too many complicated rules that just facilitate more reviews.

Rule on that call reads that extra man must almost get an assist on the goal for the goal not to count. As far as rule reads ref blew call.

I like these line combinations and Bast's play.

Somebody get the puck

I've been kind of getting down on the team but after looking at the stats I feel that this years situation may be easier to fix. We just gotta get better defensively, which should be an acheivable goal. Seems much harder to come up with offensive production like was the problem last season.

The irony is that last year we couldn't buy a goal and this year we're scoring goals but can't keep the puck out of our own net.
