i agree on the third downs. the fans will look forward to 3 downs and the alerus will come to life. the rushing defense will get back to less than a 100 ypg. Not next year but sooner than you think. Bubba will get er dun.

Faison said hire by Christmas. Pittsburgh plays there bowl game Dec 21st. Speculation more cash for salary? Timing is everything. Maybe he is waiting for Dec 22nd.

Bart Andrus looks pretty good. He has developed teams from scratch at a high level. Maybe he needs more cash to take this gig.

My thought is if Faison doesn't make the hire by the end of the week, his choice is still coaching and can't leave his present position or even apply at this time.

I think a decision should be made on Wednesday. The decision in NDAC land cuts both ways for UND. The sooner Faison makes his decision the better.

This past season he was an asst coach for Gilbert HS. Not sure if he was paid or just helping out. He has some consideration for the HC at UTEP. Is it possible he would be interested in OC position?

Try Vince Lombardi. Played at Fordham and a little bit in the pros. Not a bad coach. Just saying.
