What has happened to this forum? It used to be that the discussions centered around the team we all are passionate about! Now, most of the posts are personal banter. The pot stirrers make me crazy! Just like your mother would tell you, ignore the bullies. GO SIOUX!

Archibald absolutely wanted to follow in his dad's footsteps and play for the Sioux! They didnt give him the offer that Blais did.

Absolutely, Blais was definitely the main reason Archibald is at UNO. I do think that if UND gave him the interest that Blais did, he'd be wearing green!

I'm pretty sure sioux coaches were at a couple of Archibald's games. Not his best games. I understand that UND wanted him to play Jr.'s a year before joining the team and UNO wanted him right away. UNO was also quicker with the offer. Hindsight is always 20-20.mwe definitely could use his grit and scoring.

I love it when I see a person wearing SIOUX sweatshirt at Menards in central Minnesota and we have a 15 minute conversation about our favorite team.

Asking me to choose another team to hate (other than the Gophers) is as easy as telling me I can no longer love the Sioux and have to pick a different team! I love to hate the Gophers and conference rivals or not.

As others have already said.... So many memories! One of my favorites was in the early 80's during a game vs. Wisconsin. It was late in the game and wisconsin scored to go ahead. Many fans left the building and some fan's were yelling "check the stick". It turned out to be an illegal curve on the stick and the goal was overturned. Fans were running back to the rink and apparently stopping in the middle of university to try to get back to the game! Someone mentioned that 83 NCAA tourney. I remember many Sioux fans wearing a button that said " this Sioux's for you- Go Wisconsin! I still have my button! The old Raplh will be missed!

In the late 70's, we posted info for keg parties in the commons. The cops sometimes came, took the keg and told us to go home. No concern for all the kids driving under the influence and certainly no citations. Minors didn't even cross our mind. That was the 70's and this is now! These citations can effect your future. These guys are the highest profile athletes campus. They have to be smarter!

No question- Danny deserves it!!!!! He has been the most consistent player, has the numbers and is a Senior! KRISTO4HOBEY!!!

As much as I would love to see Knight and Kristo both receive the hobey, Danny Is the BESTbplayer in college Hockey!!! Yes, he's made mistakes- like young people do. His commitment to this team and program is inspiring to his teammates and this community! KRISTO FOR HOBEY!!!!!

I really want to see Rocco on that top line!!!!!!!!!!! The boys seem to come out with more intensity and our record is good with him on that line. I just don't get why HAK is messing with a good thing?

Will the senior night festivities be broadcast by midco or on the webcast?

In a perfect world, the Sioux will rack up the score and Tate will get his chance in net for Senior night! On... And the Gophers will lose!

Thank you for this awesome production! I can't wait until Friday mornings when I can fire up the computer and see "Through these doors". This one was extra special and I don't think I had a dry eye throughout it. Thank you Seniors for the great memories and your contribution to the greatest program in college hockey. You will always be FOREVER SIOUX!!!!!

Rocco for Friday

So disappointing. Both the video quality and the production quality has significalntly declined. It's an embarrasment for a top notch D1 program with such loyal fans and alum to provide such a pathetic product. I think Pat Sweeney and crew did a great job. I really miss them!
