Yes, I want to meet them in the playoffs, no matter at what stage.
-
For sure. We are definitely on their radar. At this point, I still think we are 2-3 touchdown underdogs to NDSU, but maybe with newfound health, it could be a game.
-
I get the feeling that if NDSU is the #1, UND will be #8, and if NDSU is #2, UND will be #7. I just don't see them not on a collision course for the quarterfinal stage.
-
No. All I said is that comparing football attendance to NDSU, UM, and MSU is not a controlled experiment due to the hockey factor. I personally think the Al should be sold out every game just like the Ralph is.
-
Unless the Big Sky had some sanctions that I don't remember, that shouldn't have affected hosting, since it's not an NCAA event.

The difference between Fargo, Missoula, and Bozeman, is that football is their cash cow sport, whereas Grand Forks has hockey. And it has hockey 2 nights on a weekend. And a season that lasts 5 months. That's a lot of games. If Grand Forks didn't have 11-12k going to every hockey game (over 200,000 people for a full season), there would be 11k at football games. So you say, "can't people do both?" Sure, they CAN. But that's a pretty big commitment.

I know how this is gonna make me look now that the game is over and won, but because I was at the game, not paying attention to TV or radio announcers (or even looking at this site), I never had the doubt that would have normally kicked in had those outside sources been a factor. I didn't necessarily think UND would come back to win, but I figured they could still make it interesting. When we finally made it to 31-17, I told my friend next to me, "if they offense can get one more, I think the defense has a score in them today." Well, the offense actually got two more, and then the defense got theirs to win the game.

I don't want to give them the clicks. Anything of worth brought up? I know, I felt bad going to a Bison site, but I did read the whole thing. Regarding UND and the playoffs, they think UND will now be a seeded team.
-
I noticed that as well, and thought that was a nice gesture.
-
A potential home game against sdsu for the right to potentially play at ndsu. Sounds like the perfect scenario for a great playoff atmosphere.
-
I agree. But if the play from the last two matches continues, they will be dancing. Maybe even knock off a first round NCAA opponent.
-
Wow, that is EXACTLY what happened later in the game.
-
Dooley and Merselli have got to be the best 1-2 combo in the Big Sky.
-
Defense was very good tonight. And probably one of the best performances from Faith Dooley. ever. Loved the announcer, too.
-
The big Bison fan at work was mentioning that. I presume he heard about from the Dom Izzo chat as well. I have found no confirmation of that anywhere on the internet.

It is possible that some of the current girls may not be back for next season. I know no inside information, I just know that Pryor has lost girls in the past.

http://www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i=20161108092241785793504 Goes away from regionalization, and it appears to be the best bracket I've seen.

Like others are alluding to, this actually best case scenario for even more excitement surrounding UND football. The game itself would be a good story line; a UND win would be a great story line.
-
I've been thinking for several weeks that UND getting a seed would be too much time off between games. However, if we can't host a round of 24 game, then I too would rather have the extra week off and play at home.

The seat that I bought a ticket for Weber State just before game time is not available, and this is with 6 days to go.
-
I would say that it is stronger.
-
PS. At least once a period during the Friday night hockey game, this football game should be plugged.

I'm a big time optimist, and I say the joint is jumping with 10,000+

You could say NAU choked tonight's game at ISU, as well. Gotta give ISU some credit, taking down the league's two top teams.
