  1. Not what I had in mind, but those guys did make a point that some NFL coaches call offensive/defensive plays. Perhaps a salary distribution move to start things off. Maybe that changes with future renegotiated contracts.
  2. I wonder if the Haug connection to Bemidji State puts Bolte into contention for DC.
  3. I've been curious about this myself.
  4. Do we know how UND's collective stacks up against other schools'? Is there a way to know?
  5. I'll answer this from my perspective. I was not overly impressed with his defenses at UND, and it seemed the San Diego SU defenses were also similarly questionable. But I've been a convert in the period since he was hired with his access to knowledge at the highest level of FBS.
  6. This was completely unacceptable.
  7. Yes. I am thinking he's courting one preferred name, with a potential couple backups in case his first choice doesn't pan out.
  8. makes sense
  9. Yes. That was his last chance to make a splash hire, which appears so far he did. I think Chaves' job is safe for at least 4-5 years.
  10. This is probably the biggest defensive truth post-2007.
  11. Yep. Same problem as the football program.
  12. Exactly. True of any organizational activity, whether it's sports or a business.
  13. Yeah, I knew there had to be others, just couldn't remember their big moments as readily.
  14. Lots of Eaglestaff talk (for very good reason), but how about the supporting cast? King and Kraft had improbable roles in pushing the game to final minute.
  15. One of the coolest things about last night for me is that against a top-10 opponent, we looked we belonged on the same court.
  16. Hope this gets the GF and UND community back into BB. What a great night to showcase ND talent.
  17. Hopefully he’s a Summit League champion before he can’t be.
  18. CBS studio crew talking Eaglestaff six figure NIL $$
  19. Maybe I'm out of touch, but the Ralph was brand new in 2001 and hosting a game Kansas was going to (and did) well there in part because of the venue. I am not sure we sell a capacity Ralph crowd for a BB game now, even if it is Alabama. It will be fun to see a packed Betty. Need some juice back in the sports that use the Betty.
  20. Yes, but I am guessing that is it. Otherwise, they would have been announced at the same time. At least only 1 is defense.
  21. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2024/12/17/football-fighting-hawks-announce-four-additions-to-2025-staff.aspx?fbclid=IwY2xjawHOcntleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHTbJD390SIZ9-pzQvxom3Rcb5hJxYPiquHo9MdRWLSHyT0ntjcswF4ZYUA_aem_iJDSAA4eBUIu_e2qBpE-MA Shawn Kostich, Donnell Kirkwood Jr., Trevor Olson and Travis Stepps
  22. Would have been a good model for both Dakotas and Montana (and probably Idaho).

    SCSU @ UND

    HOORAY WE’RE GOOD AGAIN!!
  24. Interesting
  25. Are we rooting for MSU so there’s the highest chance of a non -SU champion? Or UI because Luke?
