Agreed skating is identical. Only difference is puck skill and finishing ability (passing/shooting). Sanderson should continue to develop that aspect of his game next year. With his skating there is no way he shouldn't be a point per game guy from the point next year.
Kid plays a wagon wheel style of hockey (which I absolutely love by the way....think how Sanderson has been playing lately) and I know I've heard from good sources his pops controls where he plays based on systems/style ran. He's a super confident right handed D man that has to end up here. Can't lose that one.
Not quite sure there. He definitely passes the eye test but 5 goals and 1 assist in 20 games? Obviously 5 goals isn't bad however I'm curious how he doesn't have more than 1 assist with that heavy of a shot.
Moore Bast pairing is getting exposed. They should probably be split up. Moore is nice but not great in his zone...Bast has never been good in his own zone. Curious why they’re together at ES.
Agreed....16 isn't terrible at all unless the players missing are their stars. 10 and 6. Doesn't really affect the D and F are fine as top 9 plays heavy minutes anyways.
Could be batchelder...I’ve seen him play a few times and while he puts up points he doesn’t see it that well.
on a side note, Blake is putting up video game numbers right now and batchelder and holt are definitely the recipients of Blake’s play. He’s got eyes in the back of his head. Phenomenal player. Excited to see him develop. He did get hurt tonight though.
Blaisdell has to be in the lineup if healthy. I think Ness too.
I saw flashes from Moore earlier in the season...I think he may be the real deal. He needs to stay in the lineup as well.
It is what it is....he's typically on a 4th line. I believe he's been a healthy scratch a few times and yes, it appears he's struggling a good amount. His skillset is still through the roof. I'm not overly worried about it. He played 15O last year so this jump is fairly intense. Others on that team are simply adjusting at a quicker rate.
