This team will never see a goal with all three forwards in on it. as I’ve mentioned too many times, when we have the puck in the ozone the first, second, and third option is going out to the point for a perimeter shot. That play is supposed to be used as an outlet...to catch the Dzone players sleeping. Our boys only do that. It’s like running a play action in football every play. DU knew none of our forwards would even attempt to beat them low.

Only 5th because he came in late. He shredded that year. One could argue he went into college hockey too early the first time.

U actually think Donovan is going to do something in college hockey next year? Outside of the layup games he has in HS he hasn’t done much. I strongly doubt he’s going to walk into college hockey (never playing a season of junior hockey) and be a key player.

Pumped about the players we have coming in next year. No super high end guys, although I think Pinto may sneak into the first round if he dominates in TC. But a nice collection of skilled guys. Need a few more similar classes to turn this thing around. We have several commits who I doubt will ever make it on campus.

I'm an analytics guy....but OMG this punchline was overused three weeks ago. It's that lack of creativity in the ozone. I don't really care where they shoot from.....it's always a clean look. Over and over again the forwards and trying their best to get it back to the point for the shot. That is their A, B , and C option. If a forward can't seem to figure out how to get it back to the point, they are at a loss. They turn and throw some weak shot on net. the goalie easily catches it and the ref blows the whistle. We win the next faceoff and do the same thing over and over again.
