I'd pass on Miller, hasn't really looked the part in juniors. I'm guessing the gophers pulled his scholly. I doubt Bubs would ever take their left overs.
-
Weatherby cracked opening night lineup…pretty impressive.
-
Might want to keep tabs on Conyr Hellyer...later '04 playing in the AJ. Putting up huge number so far as a younger kid in the league.

You're not.

Let me guess…mich and mich

Bingo…we’ll still get our high enders here and there (especially D men and Canadians), but these big ten teams will have first pick at the us blue chips. We have the advantage with over age Canadians and we should be able to pluck late bloomers from the ushl. Beauty of hockey…late bloomer sport. in all seriousness, bubs has been great with who he’s been getting. It has to be really tough to recruit against some of those big schools with all they have to offer.
-
Agreed, with where a ton of the blue chips are going ( )….we’ll need to flip kids and get grad transfers. Not the coolest way to do it but whatever wins games
-
Perron may end up sneaking into the first
-
Look for Cal Thomas (MG) to potentially flip here
-
Moore will take that spot
-
Matthew wood is really a kid bubs should flip.

Some thoughts from last nights game: - fairly sloppy game on both ends of the ice, passing/playmaking was atrocious, D coverage (both O and D) was brutal at times - Sanderson will need some help, he’s a great skater but this isn’t squirts, he’ll need to zing it around a bit. - Down the middle we look a bit weak. I didn’t look up official stats but every time I was paying attention we seemed to lose draws. - on a more positive note, that Jandric kid looks really skilled/deceptive. Not sure if he was the one out of place all the time but really like his skill set. Should be fun to watch this year. Driscoll didn’t get tested a ton, but when he did it was beyond a Grade A, he looked as good as advertised. overall it was game one. Get budy in there as well as Moore and the skill goes up a bit. Really miss Weatherby down the middle.

We lost a college football game to a team that attempted 10 passes…something doesn’t feel right about that. And he only completed 4 of them -

Has the bison qb really attempted 10 total passes all game? -
Interesting lineup

Not terrible....would make sense. The only change I could see is giving Hain a top 6 role now seeing as he's a senior (over Schmaltz). Also, isn't Calder a wing? I do see the lack of offensive C's though...may have to play him at C. I know both Ness and Schmaltz played C in juniors.

Have to split up the underclassmen a bit. I think we’re going to need Ness to fill a decent role…good numbers in the USHL. He’s easily above Constanini out of the gate for me. Was buried a bit last year but definitely curious how he’ll do this year. Calder/Ford will both be top 6. I could see Kunz struggling a bit his first year. -
...BU wasn't clicking at this rate...not even close.

What's going on in college hockey right now? I see this in football all the time (i.e. Alabama) but hockey has been somewhat immune to this stuff. Again it doesnt mean Michigan will win a natty as they'll turn over fairly heavily year to year. But dang. 21 year old Canadians it is

wtf...where did you see this. I can't find anything on this one
