  1. I’ll guess...cooper Moore. Has to be a dman
  2. Because younger people (w/o other issues) don't die from rona.
  3. I am disgusted with that story and I believe teams not drafting him and others judging his character have the right to do so (and is probably expected). I do believe in second changes though. However, Miller will have to "overdo" the comeback with his character.
  4. ouch....
  5. I could definitely see it cancelled that’s for sure, just not sure if that’s the right call. Either way, hopefully they can book another team/different venue if it is cancelled. As to covid....you know I probably underplayed it. I was actually pretty sick. The issue for me was how long it lasted (24 days) and the lingering cough (which I still have to this day). But looking back, I was never bedridden just very fatigued. I actually was getting worried I was diabetic or something. I’ve had hangovers and flu bugs that were significantly worse...but hangovers are gone by evening ( ) and the flu typically disappears after 3-4 days. For me, covid lingered forever. I was popping DayQuil like skittles for like a month. Oh well, in the past
  6. Nope....unless you have Delta. I'm currently at $2k+ of airlines credits. This isn't the thread however the COVID thread is a mess. I had COVID and it wasn't that bad at all, however I am younger (mid 30s). This virus is dangerous for the elderly and folks that have serious respiratory, heart, obesity, etc. issues. I've tried to stay off this topic, especially the politics behind this, however I am too starting to think the press may be trying to hype this all up.
  7. He's also not nearly as talented....no where close really. We probably won't have room for him and it was "advised" for him to go elsewhere to develop. Never a bad idea. Only so much scholarship $
  8. Oh it’s going to start in Oct
  9. Oh boy. I read those messages on twitter...pretty bad. I didn’t see keanes name at all though.
  10. That’s the exact point I’ve been making about our d core. But I wasn’t really saying that about the forward group, I was more mentioning F’s who could come in. Someone mentioned Kunz as only being a senior this year and I was joking that shattuck is know as being able to skip a grade pretty easily. Long story short, I do agree with you. Skilled guys gotta play, if there is even a hunch that they may ride the pine they are better off in juniors.
  11. Completely agree on all fronts. I think what a lot of us underestimated, was the loss of Hak in 2016. Sure our team went on to win a Natty and we were able to still bring in Jost....however I follow our prospect (and potential prospect) pipeline fairly closely and we weren't pulling in the number of high-enders we were in the past. We also brought in more "fill ins". Sure some lower prospect guys can make an impact, but more often than not, they are what they are. Bubs sure seems to be winning those dman battles. If we can get Flemming and Chesley...the 04 group will be stacked as well.
  12. This year’s class is beyond loaded...with the team we already have this year could be very special. Haven’t been this high on a sioux team in a very long time.
  13. Sure, but he went to Shattuck In all seriousness, kunz probably needs a year of juniors. If I were him I’d go the BC route. I just worry about these guys who get drafted then play another year of juniors. You risk losing them a year early if they pan out.
  14. Oh sure....completely forgot about him. He'll be coming in for sure unless the offer is pulled for some reason. Another one is Halliday and/or Kunz....both are getting draft this year. I could see Kunz taking the slow approach (which is probably good for him).
  15. I do agree that they could just put Rieger in as a F, however....man is there little wiggle room for playing time. I mean, unless he improves quite a bit, Bast may not be in the lineup and I really like him (I feel as though he was hurt all year last year). Frisch is going to have trouble getting in the lineup. Good problem to have I guess. Young core but over the top talent wise. JBD-Kiersted Sanderson-Bast Kleven-Miller Frisch-Moore
  16. First time taking a look at this thread. Whoa!
  17. Has he aged out? Maybe. Youre right overagers rarely get picked but every once in awhile they go. Ladue, Poolman, etc all got drafted in their last year of eligibility. You could be right though not sure if gaber has aged out.
  18. Riese Gaber USHL Player of the Year and Forward of the year. He's going to get drafted I'm sure as an overager.
  19. Mitchell Miller and Riese Gaber both All-USHL First Team selections.
  20. I don't believe so. I have a buddy who works in insurance and he noted many companies are not setup appropriately for this. I would assume that would include other organizations as well.
  21. UConn AD was quoted as saying he would be shocked if there were Fall sports. The big thing folks forget is the NCAA is afraid of lawsuits (I guess as they should be). Putting students in harms way? That spells a lawsuit to me...I obviously want everything back to normal however if there is one organization willing to string things out...it's the NCAA. I feel like it will be the last to come back.
  22. Agreed....that makes more sense now. And the answer is no.
  23. The big knock on him were the d zone turnovers...but at least two other dmen made as many or more than he did. He also was 4th in pt/gm for the d core...as an underclassmen and having the shortest of leashes. +\- was solid too considering he played less games than all other dmen. ok I’m done...off this topic
  24. To me, he would have been in next year’s lineup hands down. I think the issue for him would have been the type of role. He plays more of a top 4/pp role. He may have had a tough time getting top 4/pp minutes...although I would have slotted him in at 4 to start the year. I think there may have been more to the whole situation.
  25. I’ve heard Ness has a super motor and is tough to play against. Pt/gm in the ushl and you got an every nighter.
