Moldenhauer just announced his schools and Und isn’t one of them…but Michigan is. I don’t think it has anything to do with coaching. It has to do with playing with other studs…and they have a lot of them.

Absolutely should play ushl next year if he wants to extend his playing career. He’s on the bubble now so he should be doing whatever he can to extend this thing out. Play a year in Fargo (not sure how the rights work at this point).

I kind of agree, he started out well and cooled quite a bit but…there were players with much worse years than him that are still on the team. Plus it would be great to have his experience in the lineups. He either was told someone was taking his top six spot (and scholly $) or he wasn’t a great fit in the locker room.

Might be best for him TBH…I don’t really see a spot for him. May be better off playing line 1/top PP and continuing to develop.

Yep, phenomenal talent. Hopefully someone grabs him (assuming he’s done the right things for himself to make up for past behavior).

Agreed…we may want James to play another year to be honest. Guessing strinden doesn’t touch the ice next year. Hain and Senden should be nice bottom six players. Blake will slot in top 6 with Gaber.

I get what you/Eades meant…he’s a smaller D man that goes hard. Limited O upside it appears, which this team really needs in the worst way. We’ll have age/experience on our side though which will be a plus.

Judging by year over year number/trending I would be blown away if he’s remotely close to Stech. At the same age stech was in year 3 in the NHL

Ture Linden would be an interesting add. This portal stuff is nuts…may change the way programs like UND recruit. You may see them go after only blue chips and basically plucking everyone else from the portal. Obviously I’m m exaggerating a bit. But you get the point.

His skating was really bad and he wasn’t in great shape. I heard we went a different direction and that must have woken him up a bit. I’ve heard his skating has improved a ton. He’s always been a highly skilled/smart player. Sat in the ushl for a long time and developed. He’ll walk right into a top 6/pp role at OSU next year. I could see him going in the 3rd/5th round this summer.

Rumor floating around that a goof or 2 may be hitting the portal/market looking for a new team. One blue chip
