Panzer was great and was the best forward in the country that year but the type of season he had has been done before and has been done since. What Miller did that season was truly historic. A .950 save percenatge? That's just crazy and we seriously may never see that again as long as we live. 1.32 GAA and 10, yes 10 shutouts? Had anyone other than Miller won the Hobey that year it would've been the biggest screw job ever. It would've been equal to Johnny Gaudreau not winning it this year. Panzer was more than worthy of the award but Miller was the obvious and the only choice that year.

After losing Haula, Bjugstad, Schmidt, Budish, and Alt to EARLY departures plus Seth Helguson as a senior no one expected this years Gopher team to be as good as they were. They absolutely over achieved during the regular season. How this team managed to have the season they had with 6 freshmen forwards and 3 on the top two lines is amazing.

It's pathetic that we take pride in beating our rival at the Frozen Four? Haha I needed a laugh thanks. And this is coming from a UND fan who took how much pride in the Holy Cross game? At least this game actually involved OUR team. Maybe we can meet again next year in the NCAA's and we can end your season for the 3rd time in 4 years.

It's hilarious watching UND fans downplay the whole 0.6 second thing. Talk about denial. 0.6 will live forever and UND fans will just have to get used it. Yes the Gophers did not go on to win it all but neither did UND after the Porter wrap around in the '07 Regional. And wasn't that goal the top moment in the rivalry according to UND fans in some top ten ranking just last week? These two teams have played almost 300 times and last week's match-up was probably the most hyped up game in the rivalry's history and your team lost in epic fashion in a historic game to your arch rival that will NEVER be forgotten by either fanbase. Just like after the Holy Cross game, Gopher fans knew it was historic and would take heat from UND fans forever because of it. Well 0.6 will be no different. UND fans will never forget how their favorite team's 2013-14 season ended and Gopher fans will never get tired of reminding them.

My sincere congrats to UND, definitely the better team in the third period. They played a great game and impressed me immensely.

I would agree with that. At this point I think it's fair to say that the Big Ten had the better regular season considering they had 2 #1 seeds while the NCHC had a 2 and a 4.

Its called discussing college hockey. Coming into this season I thought the NCHC would be the better of the 2 conferences this year but The Big Ten ended up having the better season so who knows what the next few years will be like.
