if coach Lennon did leave Mussman or Tibesar would be my guess as the next head coach...Tibesar would continue the UND ties and he definitely bleeds green...would see no problem as UND losing anything with either of them..as long as the football is fully funded at whatever level they play at..UND will be competitive!!

I would second the motion for Terry Wanless, he left this dept with 200,000 in the black, hired quality staff personal, quality coaches, he is the one who hired Dean, and treated all of his employees with respect and held people in their jobs accountable and rewarded people who did their jobs and showed up for work!!!! He hired people around him who were very good, Jim Elworth, who is now working with the NCAA, Doug Archie who is with Utah, Pete O who is with Utah as the assistant AD...all fine people who were a pleasure to work with!!!! Sac St.. is a sinking ship and it was before TW got there criticizing him for that is unfair...as well as California budget problems...thats a whole different story!!

REA has a fund set aside to pay for any major work to be done that is unforseen, that amount is going up to 2 million which isnt there yet...and according to the REA accountants...UND athletics has received 61,000 in 3 years from REA to the athletic dept. interesting...

all and all I thought the Men looked ok last night, Doyle played well, Caro Nobles played well, AIA's big men were tough, they were physical and knew how to score, that was the biggest problem UND had with the game and the two guards were nice players as well, defensively we need to get better and Shawn Swann is still figuring things out, where to be, which call is where I go where...all the new things a new player needs to get aquainted with...but all and all I thought it was a positive game, Ryp needs to get more touches if UND will be effective, which he will....

by the way SSI is looking I think that is a fair assumption that we should play all the NSIC teams we can play...BSU, Northern, Concordia St. Paul, this would be easier to travel to and help our regional and SSI by the way it looks now...Delta St. has to win out and Ferris needs at least one if not two more wins to help UND with its SSI....at least by playing those closer teams UND will not have to pay out a big gurantee like we did this year...

the NCAA already enforces attendance limits?? there are several D1A teams that are being threatened to move down to 1AA next year because of low attendance at FB...as far as stating UND will move within ten years..that is a tough call...until Pres. Kupchella sees where the money will come from or how UND will fund it as long as he is President I dont see it happening...just my two cents...he was at a D1 school that made the jump and saw first hand the mess it creates. As far as O'Keefe being involved in extra funding and being in the loop..already stated alumni's position..

the committee he is on has all divisions on it..D1, D2 D3 I have read the article..and FYI..our alumni feel they are tapped out for funding..so there goes that source of revenue..but you propably knew that since u talk to O'Keefe..the D1 committe doesnt care about restructuring...they just want their own league..ie BCS that is where that comes from...they dont care about the UND..NDSU..SDSU..UNC...or whoever else.

I must have missed where O'Keefe was on a committe for NCAA...and now since he is the official spokes person for the athletic dept guess he would just naturally know that...or maybe he and the Pres of the NCAA had their own meeting?? Actually there wont be re classification the NCAA doesnt believe there is a problem...the NCAA has stated that the institution needs to adjust to the NCAA not the NCAA adjusting to the institutions.
