You can't base whether or not MSU is a good or bad team on that one game. Remember when the Sioux lost to Northern State and Southwest State? Besides it only matters what anyone does in the post season now. as was stated earlier...what is their record against regional ranked teams??? tell me....if it is the post season that counts....then when the dragons come to UND...and they get whipped if they get to the championship....what will u be saying then??? they arent too bad....i watched them play....their posts are stiffs.....they have no and i mean no outside shooting....only way their perimeter can score is going to the basket...ten feet and in...and that wont happen against NCC teams because their too athletic...so tell me...how will they score?? same way they did at UND...oh yeah....they didnt....35 points with like 12 mins left in the second half.....and thats a good team....even UND got that many on the goofers....come on...

Moorhead isnt a bad team...UND beat them by 35 before Christmas??? and it was 30 early in the second half...most of the subs played most of the second half...come on....not a bad team...wow.

the thing that isnt good about this is the fact the NSIC will get one team who is not ranked in the top eight....so i am guessing...SC St, USD, or UND will get left out...you do not want to leave it to the committee...so a win and a split on the season with USD will be HUGE on Sat!!!!!

Mary would definitely have the funding to compete at D2...i had heard they would have to cut scholarship money in some of their sports just to comply with NCC rules...such as track....i believe almost all their programs are fully funded....adding these Washington schools is a temporary fix to a long term problem....so why fix it short term when it could hurt the NCC in the long term??

what about their budgets though..you would think that would hurt...i guess i would rather see a solution for the whole league....all the teams in the NCC are struggling to find games...not only football...if you add them now does that not lure someone else in the future because they want in the NCC for football too??? i think this may limit UND at a chance to get a legitimately good team..IMO...

[Really? It's not that bad. Southwest Minnesota State is 10-4 and already beat USD at USD. They are pretty good. UND will be just fine. SW state lost to St. Cloud St. 94-78...at St. Cloud but even though..and beating USD is a benchmark?? they lost the best player in the country along with another senior who did most of their scoring?? SW also lost to UMD, Augustana,and beat Upper Iowa 64-43...a team UND crushed what was it 100 to 40 something...had to have been a letdown after Christmas break...maybe different practices at different places affected them..

if the athletic dept wants to make money and not operate in the red...all the way..like valpo does....not what football people want to hear but its reality..show me how much the D1AA champion will make this year??

if SDSU was smart they would put all their eggs in Basketball and hope to make the big dance..if they can get in a conference..I dont see any money being made in D 1AA football...not like making the field of 65...IMO
