  1. It will be a tall task, the Gophs will be better (at the same token we will be too) and this isn't the Borton run Gophers anymore. I don't think home court will be an issue since the place should be pack and be loud. I think they have a good shot of beating Clemson too. The GF Herald article hit the nail on the head, UND needs to take the next step and start beating the bigger schools too, like they did 2 years ago against Utah. Anyone know is Josie Dillon got her redshirt or not from last year? She will be a key component in bringing something UND really lacked last year. 3 point shooting
  2. Very impressed with the schedule, this will be a good challenge for the girls and will help them in their defense of the title. They could win 20+ games again
  3. So if I understand the article, they will take their time and we will just be North Dakota for the whole 2014-15 season and they should have something next year (hopefully) unless the legislative gets their way again and we have to wait until July 2017. I hope they are sincere that they will contact just those people on the list and no "outsiders" and they actually take students suggestions and thoughts seriously as much as faculty, alumni, etc.
  4. Jan. 1: @ Montana State Jan. 3: @ Montana Jan. 8: vs. Sac State Jan. 10: vs. Portland State Jan. 17: vs. Northern Colorado Jan. 22: @ Idaho Jan. 24: @ Eastern Washington Jan. 29: vs. Weber State Jan. 31: vs. Idaho State Feb. 5: @ Southern Utah Feb. 7: @ Northern Arizona Feb. 12: vs. Montana Feb. 14: vs. Montana State Feb. 19: @ Portland State Feb. 21: @ Sac State Feb. 26: vs. Northern Arizona Feb. 28: vs. Southern Utah Mar. 7: @ Northern Colorado The first half of the conference schedule looks a little rough, yes 5 of those 9 games are at home but the stretch from Jan 17-31 with UNC, @ EWU, @ Idaho, Weber and Idaho State will be difficult. If they can figure things out for Feb and March, the schedule softens a bit where their biggest test would be at Sac and Portland. I think the conference is going to be another battle like this year, only this time there really isn't a clear cut favorite.
  5. Summer can take its time More golf, biking, and Shandy to drink for me before the rigors of school begin again in August.
  6. Brazil's nightmare continues. Argentina advance to the finals to play Germany by penalties. The Dutch kept the goalie in and just got worked.
  7. I think Jerry Maguire said it best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaiSHcHM0PA Anyways, cool that the cup is coming to GF. I will have to go see it if times allows me to.
  8. Damn you Dos Santos! You made Tim Howard cry!
  9. A tenth of an inch better and this is tied.
  10. well that sucks.... a slip and then a goal for Belgium
  11. Tim Howard is just standing on his head right now
  12. At this point, if the US gets to THAT point, it would be a victory in itself.
  13. Its not pretty, but its still scoreless at the half
  14. Heartbreak for the Swiss, give up a goal late in extra time to Argentina.
  15. I think that Hooker and Crandall should run the point mainly and have Antwi, De Rouen and Tyler spell them. Tyler would be better suited at the 2, so would Antwi. De Rouen seems to have a tweener role to him. You can mix Hooker and Crandall at the 2 as well. But my money would be having Hooker and Crandall running the show.
  16. Germany will win the group and the US will remarkably advance to the knockout stages. They will more than likely get Belgium
  17. Ronaldo gives Portugal the lead again. Very good news for the US
  18. Ghana just tied it up, they get 1 more and things change. Although the tie right now helps
  19. Germans finally break through with a goal, Howard make a great 1st save but left a rebound that Germans cleaned up.
  20. No score at the half for US and Germany. 1-0 Portugal over Ghana at the half
  21. Portugal strikes first in an own goal by Ghana, good news for US.
  22. Argentina wins group F and Nigeria becomes the first African team to make it to the knockout stages.
