UND moves on to the middle part of their 3 game homestand and looks to gain ground in the standings as they host Portland State.
UND is 4-3 all time against PSU since joining the Big Sky, with a 3-1 record in Grand Forks.
PSU has an anchor in Forte, who averages 18 points, 9 boards on the season. Should be a fun matchup between him and Drick. They can score (tied for 3rd in the conference in points), but most of their damage is done on the inside. Not the greatest 3 point shooting team or at the free throw line either.
I'm looking to see if Geno can't bounce back after a tough few games.
Other Games:
SAC (4-10) @ UNC (5-9)
MSU (7-7) @ Weber (12-2)
Montana (12-2) @ ISU (9-5) *Pull for the Griz in this one
The call:
UND cannot afford to drop this one at home if it has any aspirations of getting a 1st round bye. UND gets their offense in a better flow and the defense stifles enough to get a nice win.
UND 79-68
Also of note: Hooker should at some point pass 1,000 points for his career during this homestand. He needs 26 more to do it
