  2. After a frustrating finish to the season, its tourney time in Reno. First up for UND, its SUU. UND is 3-2 all time in the Big Sky tourney, and is 1-0 against SUU in the Big Sky tourney and is 5-3 all time against SUU since joining the Sky. What has happened in the regular season is now in the past. Every team is now 0-0 and quite simply, 3 to 4 wins in a row and you are dancing. That said... UND has the tools to make a deep run, but can flame out early as well. UND simply just needs to take care of business and beat down a 5 win team. The more they can get into their bench and get their regulars rest the better. They cannot afford to slip up and end their season on a very sour note. Get some momentum and confidence going into the matchup against ISU with a victory. Other Games: Game 1: No. 8 Portland State vs No. 9 Northern Colorado, 2:05 p.m. Game 3: No. 7 Montana State vs No. 10 Sacramento State, 7:35 p.m. Game 4: No. 6 Eastern Washington vs No. 11 Northern Arizona, 10:05 p.m. The call: UND handled these guys for the most part at SUU. SUU has lost 12 out of the last 13. UND has no business losing to SUU... period. Look for Geno and Hooker to get going and Avants and Drick to have solid games down load. Bench players get some important minutes in a laugher UND 81-58 Just for fun: PSU over UNC 82-78 MSU over SAC 77-75 EWU over NAU 91-82
  3. Won't disagree with any of this. I'll add one more UND will go far if they rebound well (12-1 when they win the battle of the boards) UND will be bounced early if they don't (3-13 when they don't)
  4. Can this shift back to the discussion of the Big Sky Tourney as a whole. We have a tread for the coach... use that
  5. This does set up nicely for UND to get to the semis. Then have a 3rd crack at Weber. Keep the EWU/Idaho/Griz away until the finals, let them beat each other up. The setup means that if UND is going to win the whole thing its going to be 4 games in 5 days. Do they have the endurance to do it I like PSU, UND, EWU, and MSU in round 1
  6. I since made the correction. I got my matchups from the big sky blog. It does appear it is SUU not NAU.
  7. Game 1: No. 8 Portland State vs No. 9 Northern Colorado, 12:05 p.m. Game 2: No. 5 North Dakota vs No. 12 Southern Utah, 2:35 p.m. Game 3: No. 7 Montana State vs No. 10 Sacramento State, 5:35 p.m. Game 4: No. 6 Eastern Washington vs No. 11 Northern Arizona, 8:05 p.m. Game 5: No. 1 Weber State vs Game 1 winner, 12:05 p.m. Game 6: No. 4 Idaho State vs Game 2 winner, 2:35 p.m. Game 7: No. 2 Montana vs Game 3 winner, 5:35 p.m. Game 8: No. 3 Idaho vs Game 4 winner, 8:05 p.m. Game 9: Game 5 winner vs Game 6 winner, 5:35 p.m. Game 10: Winner game 7 vs Winner game 8, 8:05 p.m. Game 11: Championship game, 5:45 p.m. All times are in Pacific. Synopsis: WIDE OPEN.
  8. St. Cloud got ANOTHER shorty 3-1. I don't think I've ever seen that before
  9. Whose is on the PP here? St. Cloud with ANOTHER shorty 2-1 Huskies
  10. CC strikes first against St. Cloud while on a 5 minute PP 1-0 Then CC got caught on a bad change and St. Cloud gets a shorty 1-1
  11. despite the disastrous road trip, this could still set up nicely for UND in Reno. Provided Idaho beats ISU tonight.
  12. You would have think that something like that would have leak on social media by now.
  13. disappointing performance and road trip. Playing on Tuesday vs either NAU or SUU in the 1st round
  14. UND has cut the deficit down to 10 54-44 Cats 13:44 2nd
  15. better turn it around quick or lay a giant egg on this road trip
  16. kind of a dumb foul by Baldwin on the Colbert drive 31-21 Cats
  17. couple of quick ones by Avants to knock the deficit down to single digits again TO MSU 28-19 Cats
  18. MSU up 10 24-14 we are not looking very sharp.
