  1. Looks like they updated it so it correctly says 6.
  2. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2018/7/19/mens-basketball-fighting-hawks-go-overseas-to-sign-talented-duo.aspx#.W1CcJ203Uo0.twitter So we can add a 6'1 guard from Latvia to the squad as well. This also caught my eye: Atelbauers and Rebraca join a list of five other newcomers that have joined the Fighting Hawks' program during the offseason and will be eligible to compete in 2018-19. By my count, they have 6 newcomers, plus these two. What gives here? Misprint or is someone not coming?
  3. I didn't realize that when I looked through it, I guess maybe that is why they brought in someone else.
  4. Took a look at the roster, they have Jal at 6'7 and 165 pounds. 165? That can't be right https://fightinghawks.com/roster.aspx?path=mbball
  5. With all of this turnover, I truly wish this was a year where they could take a foreign trip. Anything to jump start this.
  6. And a few NCAA tournament games as well
  7. https://forum.orusports.com/index.php?/topic/10764-summit-league-roster-changes-2018-19/ Someone on the ORU message boards broke down the roster changes for the entire league. (Except for us since we weren't in the league).
  8. Add another recruit Kacie Borowicz from Roseau
  9. Recognized that we need the season thread for the women, so here we go. Here is the schedule that I have been able to find based on what we know and from Midco. <hope for accuracy> 11/21 @ Penn State 12/7 Milwaukee 1/9 Omaha 1/18 SDSU 1/20 @ NDSU 1/24 USD 2/3 @ Omaha 2/7 NDSU 2/9 @ SDSU 2/16 ORU 2/23 Denver
  10. Taking a look at the Midco schedule, a few dates can be confirmed it appears 12/28 IPFW 1/10 Omaha 1/12 WIU 1/19 @ NDSU 1/23 USD 2/3 @ Omaha 2/6 NDSU 2/9 @ SDSU Both Omaha games and the trip to SDSU is part of doubleheaders https://www.midcosn.com/schedule/
  11. I will give Jones this, he wanted to get some bigs into the program with this class and he has done his job How they pan out.... is another question.
  12. It might have been better had USD had came with us back in the day. Things might have gone a bit differently. I still say the conference move opened up a door for another move in the athletic department to cut costs.
  13. I do wonder how much they will save.
  14. They could have a decade of dominance at the world and European tournaments. They will have challengers. Belgium might have one more push at Euro 2020, I expect Germany to bounce back, England will be better, Brazil will make another run in 2022. Expect Italy to be back in the mix, along with the Netherlands, especially if they expand it to 48 for Qatar. And maybe.... the US will qualify and make a deep run.
  15. This might be the biggest victory for France in Russia since.... never mind
  16. If only they had done better on the last road trip. 3-4 wins would make the picture a LOT different.
  17. Oh now they start to win... (yes against less than stellar competition but whatever)
  18. Kato, Augie, SCSU, UMD, etc. don't move the needle for me very much. St. Thomas has a little more to offer that could be beneficial to the Summit. But alas, it probably will never happen.
  19. Its too bad they are not in DII, because that is the one school I could get behind coming into the Summit that is a move-up.
  20. I am taking France to win this, there will be no headbutt this time.
  21. That could be the goal that sends Croatia through
  22. extra time we go This game has gone above my expecations
  23. England has a set piece here coming up and no dice
  24. England is trying so hard to give this game to Croatia.
