That would have been amazing. It was good Sunday night viewing after football with King of the Hill and Simpsons at their peak or just getting there, with Futurama and Family Guy just getting their starts. Fox had an embarrassment of riches in the animation department.

Here's the problem: Hill and Odo are basically the same type of pitcher (5 and fly). I don't want to punish Dobnak by taking him out of the rotation because he has done so well this year. Plus there is no guarantee that Odo is ready to pitch and is running out of time to get ready. I'd kick Hill out, but he was brought in for one reason: October, and I'm sure he has one more postseason gem left in that arm. I'm guessing they run Pineda, Berrios, Madea and Hill for postseason. What that does for Odo for 2021... I bet he is kicking himself now for taking that QO from the Twins.

10 game stretch Home against Cleveland for 3 A week in Chicago (4 against Sox, 3 against Cubs) The Big Knockers need to be ready for this one. Have to come away with at least 6 wins here in this tough stretch.

Berrios is hitting his spots today.

Pineda has been a godsend to this rotation. Two great starts so far. A Maeda-Berrios-Pineda rotation in the Playoff would be pretty solid.

I wish they could have mixed up the schedules a little more. I saw that Toronto hasn't even played the Yankees yet, nearly 40 games in. So nearly half of their final games are against them. That's silly. Just as silly that the Twins had to play the Royals 10 times in 17 games.

You can throw Rosario and to a lesser extent Buxton on that streakness level. The frustrating thing with Sano is that he could be so much better at the plate and be more consistent. I loved the 2015 version of Sano. Yes he struck out a lot still but he had much better discipline at the plate. I don't know if he could get back to that. The problem this causes the brain trust is this: Can you live with this version of Sano? Where the hot streaks are HOT and the cold streaks are COLD? The next wave is knocking at the door with Alex, Royce, and Brent. Some tough choices are going to be made and made soon. Oh, and I do like the Jeffers kid behind the plate. A short sample size here but Berrios two best starts were when he was catching.

Wasn't pretty in Game 2, but the visiting Twins get the job done.
