As I said before. What penalties? Your grounded for 2 weeks? Internally? When you see him not getting on a plane for Alaska then you know he was penalized for his behavoir.
You give all your methods as to how you reached your conclussion. I have one question as to your methodology. How can you distinguish between sources as to where the sales tax came from? They are coming in bigger numbers but they also are buying hard goods. What they are buying and how much more they are buying than in the past is the difference. From observation of the number of Manitoba plates you see on any given day at Walmart, Menards, Loews (strip) and Target (strip) as a percentage of cars in the parking lot half are from Manitoba. All around Columbia and 32nd. everything is 50% Manitobans. I believe you are not giving them enough credit as to their impact on the economy.
Funny but that is not how I remember people here responding to Oshie's, Toew's, Frattin, et al troubles. Unless I am forgetting something. Funny if they had so out in front this should have been talked about by Sept. 2nd which was 9 days ago.
Another angle to this would be maybe it would be better to cut these guys now before it really blows up and all the wins get erased from the record books for lack of institutional control. They really need to grab this by the horns before it really bites them.
The charge against Robbie should have been dropped since all he was doing was telling them that they needed to tell Hak right away what happened. Over zealous cops was the problem for Robbie.
As has been mentioned here before that it is not so much the action but the cover-up that seems to annoy the NCAA. You would think they would be looking at this. If they hadn't won last year they probably would not. Since they won and are rated so high that is a new story. This is where their troubles are going to start. Sorry about the previous slam UNDBIZ.
It was not trivial. All of you were saying they had been charged and I said they had not. I brought Scott into it because he would know the technical aspects. But being the nice guy Scott seems to be he probably did not want to hurt everyone's feelings by saying that I was right.
Agree completely with you here. Or one of those Herd members. May get even more interesting if it comes out as to who turned them onto the jobs to start with.
I agree they got together. But would the current charges not cover this already? I wonder how long it will take for the company that hired them to want their money back, which they deserve. Shouldn't they also be charged with defrauding the polling outfit also? They knew they were taking money under false pretenses? More or less stealing it. Here is a question that no one has asked yet. How did they get the jobs to start with? I doubt they were looking for these jobs so who set it up for them?
