  1. But if this could be your one shot at following your dream would you not take it? This may sound a little off color but maybe he also left because of an insight as to how Hak was going to treat him this season. He saw what Hak has done to others in a similar situation as himself. He saw how Brad was treated and maybe he figured the same thing was in store for him. He may not make the big bucks in the E but he is chasing his dream and probably has as good of a chance in Colorado, if not better, than he would have had here. I like guys who have the cajones to go for the ring.
  2. "Bringing in two talented guys" shows he is actually being smart to leave now. Who knows he might not have gotten enough ice this year and no offer next year.
  3. And it only took you 80-100K to get there.
  4. Yeah but they get housing, food money etc.
  5. How many of those guys played up and then down? More importantly how many had signed free agent instead of parent club contracts?
  6. Interesting but Colorado is connected to Winnipeg and not Montreal.
  7. Well if that is the case maybe she wants to transfer to a school in Colorado. Or simply Dell thought he would not get enough playing time to get a better deal next year and decided to test the water now. Either way we all wish him luck.
  8. Big Sioux on Gateway or the Tomahawk? Arch's place or the Kuklok place? Simonsons are nice people and so are the Kukloks.
  9. Eagles are a good team watched them play the Wranglers last year. Michael Fourney also played there. Good luck to Dell at $300-$400 a week and no shot to go further. As Choyt3 pointed out it good have something to do with his wife's work or education. Why else leave for that kind of money?
  10. Try the one in Crookston in the old Pizza Hut building.
  11. Paradiso uses beans from a can. How more disgusting can you get? Chile rellenos in an egg roll wrapper? Hamburger in their tacos? Lettuce and gravy on their burritos? Gross!
  12. But my tastes are better. I admit that I am a food snob.
  13. You are welcome.
  14. And some people just have no clue as to what is good or bad. Now if I have my choice to eat at the Red Pepper or La Capana/Paradiso or La Cocina Eonomica or Taquitos Jalisco guess where I will eat? Furthermore, if the Red Pepper/Paradiso fans ate at these two restaurants I listed they would not go back to Red Pepper or Paradiso ever again. http://www.yelp.com/biz/taquitos-jalisco-mesa-2
  15. Yeah Goon you found the emperor does not have any clothes on.
  16. Chewey you make a really good point with this. We know that they have made a butt load of money during Sandusky's time at Penn. They should donate all the money they have made to a chairty that deals with abused children. Otherwise they are as bad as Penn is.
  17. Dang you come up with the most obscure but coolest links.
  18. Those places do not make pizza. They make late night drunk filler. Can't say that for Marcos since they are new.
  19. That is the problem with covected baking (edit: not backing) of a pizza. It is too even. Brick heat is not as even.
  20. No it has been like this for a long time. This year will not be much different and next year will be worse.
  21. Lack of taste and no one else makes anything any better.
  22. Better than that 30% empty Mariucci Arena year in and year out where there is not even a market for Gopher hockey tickets. Don't even try and say it sells out when you can see plainly on TV all the empty seats. They should count the gate and not tickets sold and at best there are between 6-7K there only.
  23. Yeah they both are bad. The only thing that is any good at the Pepper are the grinders. But then how can you slice ham so thin that it is transparent?
  24. That is because they do not have a good pizza oven. Convection baking is not the way to make a pizza.
  25. Money is a great way to show popularity. $80 for the biggest home game ever? UND could charge a $100 for the Gopher series and still sell out.
