Definitely the best ham, meat sticks (all flavors) and summer sausage. You try and buy any of these elsewhere and they suck compared to Laddie's.

Fargo has never had the heart and soul that GF has. Kids in Fargo did even know the kids they graduated with. In GF you knew your school and half of the other one also. I remember in the early/mid 80's kids from Bismarck were shocked at how we all knew each other at the bars even when everyone went to different high schools.

Somebody call Jeff and ask him. I remember when Jeff, Ron Bushy, Tim Anderson, Paul Endres, and I forget whoelse had their beer league hockey team and called themselves the Butchers. What Johnboy does not realize is thatmany guys who leave early have it in their contracts that the team pays for the rest of their schooling. Look at Berezan and how many years later he came back and the Calgary Flames paid for it.

I make a lot of positive comments. How fricking smart is he though to do this? Then get accepted to the best law school in Canada. A couple of other hockey players, not all UND but GF natives though, like Derrick LaPoint who is very smart and then the Markovich brothers. Mike gets a Rhodes Scholarship, studies in Moscow (not Idaho) and great guys on top of it. Though I do think that Hak needs to leave a couple of guys home from the Alaska trip.

Before or after Laddie's was USDA certfied? Where did they get it before Sam's came to town? Would you agree that it is summer sausage and not salumi?

Sysco? GFG has not been around for years. But then who really cares since the only thing the white sauce is good on are grinders.

This is so true. Allegiant has tended to make their flight schedules easy for Canadians to come down and get on the plane and go home as soon as they get back. GFK Flight Support told me that 75-80% of the Allegiant boardings are Canadians. Which I could believe once you count the cars in the lot. There were over a hundred cars on a Tuesday with Manitoba plates. I think the people who flew on Delta would stay over more than Allegiant with the earlier departure and arrivals. St. Cloud is getting service to Mesa this year. St. Cloud really needs this service to try and sell UA or AA to start service to Chicago. Hard to sell an airline on getting service when you have no boarding numbers to show them. Mesa is doing the same thing by getting Frontier to start service to Denver.

Actually I believe you because you can make a wonderful argument that makes a lot of sense. I concede to your argument. I really do believe that you really do know what you are talking about. I still think you are underestimating the number of Canadian plates during the week though. Have you ever looked at the number of Canadians using the airport? I have parking data on that if you would like to see it. It is a real thank you Canada for bringing Allegiant to GF. What I do find interesting in your argument is how for the last 3-5 years there has been growth in GF. The rest of country went one way and GF went the other way. GF seems to have been doing better since Oct. 2008 than before. The economic rain that flooded the rest of the country actually gave nutrition to GF's economy.
