  1. You know I am trying to figure out who is really backing him on this. Andrew has not had any type of employment in the last 10 years where he made enough really to even pay his rent or to live day to day. Now he is starting something where he needs at least 300K to open? I got this from his application for his license. Furthermore, what does he even know about running a bar? He has not worked at one unless he lied on his application. The city is going to want to know where he is getting the money or who he is fronting for.
  2. The games will be available from CC's website for $6.95 a game. http://www.cctigers.com/showcase/#close Just click on the game and it sends you where to sign up and pay.
  3. I hope he makes it. A guy throwing it all in chasing his dream is a great thing. He will for surely need to keep the price right to get returns. If he charges too much he will get someone once and done. Some guys might go in before they head for Phoenix or Florida. What will he do though between May and September? That is almost half the year. Better come up with a good menu and cook.
  4. Does he have a lot of capital reserves?
  5. You would think that it would be a benefit to Midco to sell this to Direct/Dish. If available to more viewers means more ad revenue and more national ads which pay more that local ads.
  6. http://www.und.com/s...ckey-sched.html This is the link to their website and I talked to their media people and the game will be on streaming. Under next event just click on the link provided.
  7. ECHL is more work and less pay also. As for flying again how many of those wonderful drunk NWA pilots that were drinking in Moorhead are back in the cockpit? If you can't pass your pc you should not be flying anyhow.
  8. They are always whining. They do not make what they use to and have lost their great retirement benefits but the money is still well in the six figure range.
  9. What is UND/MN record since Lucifer became coach? Somebody has to know this off the top of their head.
  10. Tickets sold but how many empty seats will there be? They love to announce attendance of 9,000 when you can easily see 1000s of empty seats.
  11. Did his name began with a G and was from a little town that began with an E?
  12. There still is the issue of contracts for starting pilots. They may move up but it still takes a while before they make the real dollars.
  13. Pilots that fly for the large carriers are still making good money. It is the regional airline pilots that are not getting the good bucks. Since this is a sports board it is like comparing NHL to AHL to ECHL salaries. You have to work your way up the pole.
  14. I would guess if they are lucky they might have 500 hours before flight instructing. Before 9/11 a KC-135 pilot at the base got on average 250 hours a year. At least that is what a pilot there told me.
  15. No they don't have a strong negotiating position, anymore. You use to need 1250 just to get in the door at NWA. For too long the regionals got away with hiring pilots that did not have enough experiance and people paid with their life's for it.
  16. Not if you had a header like you have for tickets, etc that people could see easily. Dags you are the only guy who can do it. I have contacted the alumni foundation 3 times about where to go in Phoenix and they still list a bar that is closed. Simply if you do not create a spot on this board no one ever will. Obi Wan you are our only hope.
  17. I'm sorry I forgot to label this as fees for non-residents that buy a license in Minnesota. It is from the Minnesota DNR.
  18. Nothing. Since the aviation department tells this to each incoming class for the last 30 years that I know of. As the majors keep parking RJs, cutting routes or replacing routes with one large plane, the rj pilots will move up a seat. Many older pilots retired tryng to save their pensions already. Delta is a great example of this.
  19. 2 more great responces from 82Siouxguy. Were you an English major by chance?
  20. A where to watch around the country thread might not be a bad idea. Here is why I think so. Maybe people stumble across this site looking for that kind of information and since you run a great informative board it could be another public service. Not so much for the regular posters but for the wandering people looking for a way/place to watch the games. Just a thought. Heck you google Sioux sports and you are always at the top.
  21. Could the fact that non-residents are not paying taxes in whatever state have anything to do with it? You could make the same argument that people from EGF should have to pay more than GF residents to play softball in the summer also.
