Week 2: Potato Bowl 2012 - UND vs. Portland State

So students pay for tickets in their tuition and out of pocket? That's a joke -
He could. I've had the same injury and didn't get it checked out until a week after it happened and played a few games on it. He would probably have to wear a big soccer shin guard on it and wouldnt be too mobile but could make it happen. If it were to get hit again he would be in excruciating pain. Thankfully it happened early enough so he can heal and be ready for the conference schedule.

. If he breaks his fibula again he will be out for 2-3 more weeks not the whole year. I cant think of a bone that is less of a big deal to break.

I bet a lot are. I noticed a lot more revo speed helmets than last year
-
Anyone notice how awesome the repainted helmets looked?

Week 2: Potato Bowl 2012 - UND vs. Portland State

True but they were a D2 team and it didn't seem like many of the fans were willing to factor into the game with the talent discrepancy. Put a good opponent out there and 01 playoff crowd noise here we come -

Let the false starts begin. Once we get one the bandwaggon folks will hop on and the place will be like a riot. -

He is noticeably a finesse player, I've never seen him hit anyone hard. Kennedy on the other hand is like a bottle of Nitro Glycerin in a blender. I'm assuming that won't be the last time Mr. Kennedy takes someones head off and gets flagged. -

He does run upright but he also runs through tacklers and pounds defenses in a way that only a guy his size can. A power back like him is a valuable asset. Miller is awesome but lacks only power which is why the team needs Sutton to pound the rock. He makes us a more complete team which is why he's #2. I would say the PJ definitely turned some heads and hopefully earned some touches this season. Bowling balls are tough to bring down and it doesn't hurt when they have a little speed too. -

Actually UND's offense scored every point for both teams -

I'm curious to see what everyone on here predicts for a score on Saturday. I'm thinking 37 to 24 UND with an intense crowd -

Was it just me or was that not the JUCO QB for PSU? -
Shows that we may fit into the Big Sky a little higher than some think

70+yards in the air is certainly elite by NFL standards. He has hit the roof of the Alerus at the fifty throwing straight up. Elite by NFL standards. The ball comes out of his hand with young Michael Vick type of velocity. -

The last time he started was fresh off of being converted to a WR and then back to a QB. He has an elite arm by NFL standards and can run but most importantly has matured from last year by leaps and bounds. -

So his start at Montana didn't count? it was a close game then with garbage WR compared to what he has to work with now. He'll be fine. -

What I hope happens is that Hendrickson does a better than expected job with the offense and the coaches utilize his cannon of an arm and he gives us 2 to 3 plays that he keeps alive with his legs and finishes with his arm and the team rallies around him and play up to 'make up' for the lack of Hanson. Then when Hanson returns the team maintains their heightened level of play and they roll. The other option is that the team, as is human nature, relax more and lower their level of play upon Hanson's return. My prediction is UND 34 PSU 24 and Hanson returns to a team with a winning record. -
Well he already is. What he did last night was better than what Bradley did against any team last year. And he threw a spiral which is better than Goska could manage. Now if he could be a leader like Goska that would be special.
-
Guaranteed whoever they put back there will be a better passer than Goska/Bradley were which equals a better offense than last year. I think Hendrickson will do fine and turn some heads in the next couple weeks.
-
Seth Nichols played qb for three years at UND. Blair has played qb for 0 years at UND. He will see more of the ball at WR than Nichols will at te. It's a no brainer
-
I for one thought the team looked very sharp in the new blacks. The intro still needs some work though. TURN THE MUSIC UP PLEASE!
-
Nichols is a converted QB. He was a QB for the first three years at UND
-
The only reason a redshirt would be pulled is if Hendrickson gets hurt. As for Hanson, non weight bearing leg break means fibula which can actually be played on if absolutely needed. I had this injury in highschool and it took 3 weeks of not running/cutting for it to heal. It sucks but it's better than alot of other possibilities.

Not cost effective at all

It's a multiphase project that requires 13 mill to start and complete phase 1. We're not far off. Remember all that talk about big donors wanting something big to give to? Well here it is. Altru created very valuable momentum, that's all it takes.
