Our run game is just fine. That is unless a team feels like putting 8 in the box and getting torched.

Because they're a very very talented team. Their front seven had some horses and some good looking LBs. Just because our record isn't the greatest either doesn't mean we are an average team. We crushed Sac St and they have a better record than us. Without all of the turmoil and coaching changes they would have a better record and better mental resilience.

In a way it's kind of signature for recruiting and reputation because of the weight that Montana brand has to it. It's nice to be able to go into a recruits home and say that we beat Montana. On the other hand a true 'signature win' would be something that turns a program around like beating a #1 ranked team or a first playoff win or beating a good FBS team. This win is awesome and all but not quite what we want for our signature....

That'll happen when the team loses two winable games in front of good crowds

You mean like when Sutton had his helmet ripped off by the facemask and they didn't call it?

Well other than being fat and sloppy he was smooth and relaxed and blasted bombs every time but once. I'm not sure how he didn't hit the roof. Though ours isn't as impressive, his average was within a yard of the Fridge's average.

He learned his lesson last week that you need TDs. Can't blame him for having balls, although consistency would be nice.

The defense played very well down the stretch. First time all year I've been proud of the D for more than 5 min. They kept UND in the game long enough for the offense to start clicking again. 500+ yards again sucks though..... hopefully they build on how they finished.

A few of the freshman in this most recent class are studs already. Golladay is already starting Edwards is a tank Carrothers is a legit DE Fletcher is the other WR that will be a beast Taj Rich already looks like he's a veteran Tuilagi is built like a brick Samoan !@#$ house oh and then there's Joe Mollberg.

Complete lie. Also, those point totals would be way down if Edwards wasn't red shirting. I've seen the guy play, you haven't. He looks like a Haloti Ngata type DT.

They will be. After Hardin and McGill are gone we will have Jackson, Bridges, Golladay, Fletcher, Oliver, and probably the next crop added on. Thats 3 6-3 guys a 6-4 guy and a 5-8 guy. Great size and playmaking ability along with a super quick slot guy who will make people miss. Hopefully they recruit a guy or two with breakaway speed to compliment these guys. I'm more worried about the defense our offense will be great for years.

Don't forget about the other freshman. I've heard Fletcher is the real deal and has a great work ethic. Expect him to be a beast.

Welch is playing DT right now, maybe they should slide him over and he would make a nice BIG DE. Cummings has nice size but needs to get alot faster and quicker. When I saw some practices in fall camp Edwards looked like the best DT on the team by far, he just needs to keep developing his massive strength and unreal quickness and gain better consistency and conditioning. Don't be surprised to see him on Sundays, no joke.

And d line, they got two cornerstone types in Edwards and Carrothers last year but they need more to replace the seniors. It doesn't seem like the younger D linemen seem like anything to get excited about other than the two true freshman I mentioned.

You'd think it'd be the entire conference, they wouldn't be the only terrible teams in that subdivision

If it goes three tiers you can bet the Big Sky would move up to the second tier
