  1. Wait, the game was at the Ralph right? Then yea, he was there. Where were you?
  2. Fixed it, Schleusner made a play, can you blame him? Also, a perfect block to spring it.
  3. I've had a request from a certain Screamin_Eagle174 at the EWU board that he be approved to this board.
  4. That's it? Some people make it seem like Lennon took the good china with him when he left.
  5. Speaking of, can anyone remind me what players Lennon took with him to SIU?
  6. This game marks a fork in the road of this team and this season. How will the team respond to long odds? Will the defense play a full game? Will this team do what it takes to salvage the season and make history? We'll learn the answers to these questions this week.
  7. He's just lonely
  8. The fake punt was a really good call, it was wide open but for some reason Darryl Drown didn't feel like trusting his ability to outrun a linebacker to the edge and tried to fake in then run out which failed miserably. Also Jablonski didn't do his job on the guy that made the tackle. Good call, two players screwed it up.... We get that conversion and possibly uncle Mo tips back in our favor and they don't literally run away with the game late
  9. It all depends on his leg
  10. Root will learn this year that the former Great West teams are of quality and worthy of a broadcast. You guys have a great opportunity in front of you with your schedule, don't mess it up (unless we run the table. Then, by all means)
  11. Is American your second or third language?
  12. This week is huge for this UND team. On the road at the red turf against a team with a prolific passing attack and bad defense. Seems like we may be looking in the mirror this week. The winner of this game will be the one who has a defense show up. Everyone knows about EWUs big and talented WRs and their drop down transfer QB (who didn't start the last two weeks) This week is going to test our secondary in ways we have only had nightmares about. However, they don't run the ball very much which somehow may help us. Their run defense isn't great so hopefully we can run the ball and keep the d fresh and run out the clock. Simply put if we win this game we give ourselves a chance for the post season, if we lose we need to run the table.
  13. Somehow they got the job done last year. Broc Belmore was outstanding vs the run until he got hurt but Nelson stepped in and did a great job. I think this year we are seeing how great Dan Hendrickson was. The entire defense fed off of him and tackled better as a group because of it. The D has no attitude this year. They were a nasty group last year. You can't blame the coaches for putting players in position to make plays, its on the players. What doesn't make sense is that these same players were able to make plays last year. We can't lose sight of the second and third quarters though, the d looked very good. They shut them out, recovered from any mistakes and had a little edge. I'm not sure if they ran out of gas in the 4th or what.
  14. So, game last night.... Cons: Tackling again................... Missed an easy pick that eventually turns into a Poly TD, minimum 7 point swing. Execution on fake punt, bad block by Jablonski and why in God's name did Brown cut to the inside when he had the outside wide open. Team intensity in the first quarter, basically it sucked. You could feel it from the stands. Partly to blame could be the mess up by the Alerus by starting the clock 6 min early and then making the team wait on the sideline for the extra time before the game would start, Poly waited to come out and they had the energy you'd expect. Offensive consistency, they screwed the defense over in the first and fourth quarters by doing nothing. Drops/missed throws. Cost us drives and redzone TDs. Did I mention tackling? Anyone heard of breaking down and not lunging at ankles? Execution of the trick play, if the guy isn't wide open throw the ball away and move on. Run blocking, man do we miss Kleason and Lynch. Hopefully Lynch plays next week, we need him. Pros: yes there were some, more than most would think Heart, after the horrible start we dug our heels in and got back into the game and scored 17 unanswered points. Defense for 2.3 quarters (2-beginning of the 4th) they looked great for the most part and had huge stops. Long offensive drives, they gave the defense the rest they needed and put some points on the board to get back into the game. Kenny Golladay, had a nice game and my God what a catch at the end. Never seen anything like it at UND and it was on a bum ankle. Mussman showing that he does in fact have balls. He made some gutsy calls that could have won us the game. You can't blame a coach for having confidence in his team and doing everything he can to give them an advantage. After that it comes down to execution by the players and they let him down. RJ McGill, he's always open and he gave the offense life on multiple occasions before he got hurt. There is alot of season left and Braden Hanson will HUNGRY to lead this team and this loss should serve as a fire that could unite the team to do some great things.
  15. Ill respond to you, but not in the way you'll be looking for. He had some bad drops that made a huge difference in the game. Hendrickson also missed him on a couple long throws where he was open. Put those together and you have yourself a very pedestrian performance.
  16. We're not exactly in a position to talk smack today, but it is interesting that you decide to come around today. Where were you last week?
  17. Hardin had three crucial drops. One cost us a touchdown on a perfect fade throw. Not to mention his fumble that screwed the defense over to start the game.
  18. I would like to see some pj sparks. I would also like to get a stud rb either a drop down transfer or big time recruit. I love me some Jake miller but he needs good to great blocking to do what he does best.
  19. Not one mention of the play Golladay made? Best catch I've ever seen in person period.
  20. One of my all time favorites, played with that edge
  21. Today is the day where UND builds the confidence to start rolling and turning some heads
  22. The Big Sky got alot harder and deeper with the addition of the Great West schools. Davis won't suck forever and SUU has a dangerous offense and both us and Poly are contenders right out of the gate. Pair that with EWU Mont St Mont and NAU and you've got a top 6 that is better than any other top six in any conference in FCS. Also the teams below that like Portland Weber SUU and Davis and you've got quite the conference. Down? No, just more competitive.
  23. Nephew and you can look no further than the first post in this thread
  24. I guess it's late enough in the week for a prediction. UND >40 Poly <24 The seniors are bitter about the last two years and are going to take it our on Poly. Look for the D line to be very solid all day. UND rushes for 200 yards and throws for 300 yards. DBs don't blow a coverage or allow a long completion all day. Hardin always has a good day against Poly, also look for Golladay to have a nice game. Kennedy on defense is made to defend the run so he should be an impact player. The block party will continue. The hogs will pound them with their confidence that they regained last week. The crowd will be back for the first time in a while, the students are starting to have stars on a team to watch and be excited for for the first time since Dressler and Chappell played.
  25. Everything I said is true
