What?

UNIs DL, anchored by that monster NT won the game. If NDSU can't run, their offense falls apart and they lose.
-
I want our team to get bigger and uglier for the next few years.
-
Mollberg was our best QB this year. He showed that against Montana. He never got a chance after that. Maybe having to watch spring ball will help his reading of coverage and decision making. Sometimes watching from the sideline slows the game down.
-
Carson Palmer, Brett Favre, Kurt Warner.
-
At least Bubba has balls. He's also got a vision for the future, he's not merely trying to survive til next year, he wants to build a juggernaut.
-
They're a running team. What is the unquestioned strength of our d? They're pro style. What scheme have we defended against best? Their defense won't be as good next year.
-
Once again those Wisco guys were fantastic. He's not anywhere near their league, just the guy at ESPN that cares the most about hockey.
-
Two games left. Still a chance to show that the team is better than last year by winning more games. Time to send the seniors out on a high note.

Bump. We didn't score any goals today.

Do we play north... Notre Dame this year?

Wilcox nealry got Binaed

The fans barely cheered. Quietest Marriucci has been that I've ever heard..... On TV.

Goal fighting whities.

So let's assume we bring in 30 players next year. We need a mix of drop downs JUCOs and HS players again. We can consider drop downs and JUCOs in the se category. The way I see the roster we need the following: 2 hog transfers 2 WR transfers 1 DL transfer 2 DB transfers Out of HS 2 qbs 2 rbs 3 wrs 4 hogs 3 DL 4LB 4 DB Perhaps a punter So far our commits consist of: Elijah Grady - DL (ND) Carter Blackwell - WR (ND) John Santiago - RB (MN) Zack Williams - OL (MB) Carl Engwall - DL (MN) Brady Oliveira - RB (MB) Mason Bennett - OLB (MB) Steve Greer - DL (MO) Donnell Rodgers - LB (MN) Harry Momoh - LB (MN) Patric Rooney - OG (MN) So far I like what we have coming in. Grady could play on either side of the ball which gives the coaches more flexibility, if they can get another quality guy on either side they can move Grady over. Santiago, RB or WR? He's got nice speed either way which is what we need. He and Olivera could be a nice 1-2. Williams and Blackwell need a couple years to develop. I like how athletic the LBs are so far. Greer looks like he could be a wrecking ball. Overall this class need a little more beef and ALOT more speed on the outside.

Bring him back and bring his partner with. They both speak English fluently and have a good time during the broadcast. Hammer and Kober have marbles in their mouths too often to be broadcasters.
-
They were pretty fair from what I saw. Obviously Wisconsin announcers but they heaped plenty of praise on us.

Maybe Sam Ponder didn't return his phone calls?

As much as I love the way Hinojosa plays I think last night UNI displayed the type of play we need at the nose. Hinojosa should be at DE in our scheme. UNIs guy was 6'4 311 lbs and not fat. He was a monster and dominated the entire game. That's why NDSU couldnt run the ball which put pressure on their passing game for the first time in 3 years. We need a monster like that in the middle to take it to the next level. That was the basic point of this thread, not a point and laugh at the three time defending national champs for losing a game for the first time in two years, we're not really that daft around here are we?

His last two classes were actually filled with good talent. A ton left from the 2012 class and the 2013 class lost Golladay and some others this past offseason. Before that it was mostly players that wouldnt sniff our D2 lineups from recent memory.

This kid had his shirt pulled for no reason and had barley been used in his career. When he was used he was much maligned. He's put on weight and has become a much more useful RB. The coaches are also doing a better job than the previous admin of using his skills. These last three games he has been a breath of fresh air. He's worked his ass off. He's earned it.

These guys > Hammer and Kober

UNI up 7-0 on NDSU. Anyone who wants to see what our team needs to become talent wise should watch these two teams. They're going blow for blow right now in a great game.

I think they can only bring in 30-35 total players in a year.
