  1. Two FB sets with Adler at TE and a 220lb rb..... Sounds good to me. If Norberg can catch like Iverson that could be a very flexible and powerful set.
  2. They're too big to wiggle through some of the holes Jer squeezed through. That TD run against NAU is a good example. They can have similar success but in a different way.
  3. Santiago is more similar to Jer. Higher top end speed though. Olivera and Arrington should give us what we didn't have last season. A dependable 3 yards if we need it.
  4. I disagree on Studsrud. He sucked right away, and should have given the situation. Like I said we'll have a better idea what he's got going forward after spring ball. He's only in his first winter strength and condition season. He'll be bigger faster and stronger for spring ball than he was last fall.
  5. Studsrud showed some good stuff last year. How he looks in spring ball will give us an idea of his potential long term. I hope Mollberg is 100% for fall camp so we can put the best man in at qb.
  6. Let's talk football instead of politics. What do you think the two deep is looking like?
  7. Just think how good Weber could be. Or even further, Kansas..... They'd never lose if they had teh swoosh
  8. The three stripes add unnecessary weight to the shoes when compared to the swoosh. They're a death trap.
  9. My God, no wonder they suck. They're so damn soft.
  10. Perhaps he's the reason that's all there was to work with? He's not exactly popular with alumni because of his inadvertent prick tendencies.
  11. Athletic success equals big time positive publicity for the school and more kids want to go there. It kinda bolsters academics by getting more students.
  12. He also forced coaches to work with D2 budgets while expecting success in D1.
  13. His sideline tiptoe play was thee play of 2001
  14. Reineke was a great story. He could have easily given up. He switched positions changed his body and became a playmaker. I think we have guys that can do what he did like Disterhaupt and some other young guys.
  15. We return every LB that made a major contribution last year and add promising players like Bakker Harmston and Hartley. Every single LB we have can run. We haven't had that in a long time. It should be fun to watch these guys make play after play next season.
  16. He's got a pretty good burst and gets and gets around the corner very well.
  17. He looked the part when I saw him play on TV this fall.
  18. He was a liability last year and just doesn't seem to have the feet. Maybe add him in a jumbo set for an extra run blocker or something.
  19. It was way worse than a fart his brain got f****d
  20. I've always thought he looks more like a d linemen.
  21. I'd say keep dunking and playing ball. Keeps him nimble.
  22. My starters would be Stockwell Anderson Francis Miller Camy. Meehan Steiner Boas and Cox rotating in. Meehan and Steiner rotating in the most. I'm looking for a big time improvement over last year. We will have a big mean and athletic line.
  23. Let's now begin the hypothetical off season talk. Recruiting is over so now we can try and project how good certain players will be and even if a trfr will come in and play right away. Let's start with the OL. Who do you think will start. Who do you think will rotate in? Will they be improved?
  24. 9 man in ND is poor competition. ND in general is poor competition. There's just not enough kids. Plenty of good tough individuals though.
  25. A win at SUU.... Woo..... They're one of the worst programs in the nation. The fact that we were an underdog says all too much.
