  1. In physical maturity they may not have meant size. Maybe just becoming a man instead of a boy? Could get stronger and faster without getting bigger.
  2. Rudolph just needs a couple game changers on the outside and his offense will devastate opponents with pa passing and TE posts and all sorts of stuff he couldn't do last year because of lack of speed and reliable OL play. And three QBs playing too i guess.
  3. Got to watch this game, first one I've been able to see in a while. This team should be winning more. They clearly have enough athletes and talent. Nash should be dominant in the Big Sky. Hooker just keeps getting better. I think he'll be pretty damn good by his senior year. I just have trouble wrapping my head around the losses to bad teams. How does Jones get so little out of this team?
  4. I just want one. Then we can worry about two.
  5. It's put up or shut up time. We've pissed three FBS games down our legs already.
  6. And yet they're still an FBS team. We need to win one eventually. Next year would be a good time to do it. They'll be better presumably than last year though, as will we.
  7. They weren't even doing anything crazy. At 9 ft they'd be doing between the legs 360s.
  8. If they're smart at all they'll try and spread us out and show that we can stop read option short passing. Basically run EWUs offense at first to see if we can hang with that. If we can then game on because our run d should be very good.
  9. I'm hoping to make that trip. Should be a perfect measuring stick for the season and a great warmup for NDSU. I'm glad we aren't going from some fluffy spread team to NDSU, that would spell disaster. It will basically be two weeks of preparing for NDSU with a game in between. It's a pretty perfect situation for us. The negative is it gives NDSU film of us against a weaker version of them.
  10. I thought Joe was on the verge of a breakthrough before he got hurt. He played so well late against Montana and was nearly perfect and in total control before his concussion against PSU. There's no way of knowing how he'll be coming off of thay injury though....
  11. I'm pretty sure the average gpa of athletes at UND is higher than the general student population.
  12. Don't athletes have a higher average GPA than the non athlete students?
  13. Had a nice chat with one of the players today at church. He was pretty ecstatic about how things are going in the program. He said it's by far the best winter he's seen in the program. He also think Studsrud is going to really push for the starting spot.
  14. I do know there were complaints about Nike cleats being too weak and breaking off. There were a few guys wearing Adidas cleats in practice since the cleats are more robust, and the shoes are lighter.
  15. So you enjoy negative conversation more than positive?
  16. Those dollars don't affect spring ball this year. Or next fall. Besides that's going to turn into the same old circle jerk. This on the other hand is so far free of bs.
  17. The recruiting advantage one has become dilapidated.
  18. And to have something other than politics to talk about.
  19. The WR play should be 10x better next year. OL play should be solid from day one instead of being the number one weakness for the first half of the year.
  20. Better be able to. If it's nice there will probably be a lot of students around for free food and drinks
  21. Don't forget the new scoreboards distracting the team with moving pictures
  22. It will be outside at Memorial which will be kind of cool.
  23. Joe was playing extremely well before he got hurt. The game he got a concussion in he was nearly perfect. He also led us on a wild comeback against #5 Montana. He's my guy if he's healthy.
