This is a huge loss. Athletes like him don't come out of ND every year. We need as many ND kids as possible. They develop better and are more reliable than kids from elsewhere.

I'd rather play you guys in the fargo dome twice in a row. It's an opportunity to really taint the immortal reputation of NDSU football. Plus playing in Fargo means the team will be tight because of the pressure. Any positive play by UND and the NDSU faithful will start getting tense and the players will feel it.

Right now, this years version of Danny Freund, he would start. He's still in great shape and still throws a perfect ball.

Based on the past I doubt it. He needs to get trim and more flexible. It will help him with his footspeed and escapability.

They will still pound the rock. Theyll open up the passing game a bit as a luxury not a necessity.

Rush defense will definatly be top 5. I'm not sold on the pass defense yet. That could bring the total defense down. Scoring defense is most important, that's where I want improvement.

I don't think I was apart of that thumping. I don't put any weight to any pre season polls since they aren't accurate. Mid season is when all the polls and rankings are valid.

Massey ratings are not accurate til midway through the season. At the beginning of the year it just uses last seasons stats. So right now is the most accurate prediction of how the game would've played out last year.
