I thought Olivera showed some good stuff yeatersay. His one first down run was through a lot of contact. He is built.
-
Not a lot, which is good. But outside of having a feel for run or pass im going to doubt whoever says they knew what play was coming a majority of the time.

It was a big student section at least in the first half. They just need something to cheer about. Also they need to stop slapping the seats and start yelling instead.

I like Irvin-Sills over Brown at CB. I like Brown but he seemed like the weak link on the defense.

I'm calling bullį¦hit on your psychic abilities. People say stuff like this all the time. It's never true.

I agree on all points.

The defense today was outstanding. Outside of Drakes first drive and a couple others they had their way with the bulldogs. When they needed a sack, they got a sack. They dropped about three ints on top of it. Not to mention that they had no help from the offense in the second half. Literally none. The kick coverage was improved big time still not perfect. They need to be even better next week. The offense had a couple moments, most of them passing. The OL was horrendous, most of the time. I did feel like we missed Georges. I also had a feeling that maybe they're holding Smith out til NDSU. Maybe he'll be the secret weapon like Santiago was against WYO. Also I felt like the play calling was about as simple as possible to get the win and go into next game with putting as little on film as possible. I'm not the least bit impressed by this win. It was ugly. It was painful. It wasn't what the fans needed to see. But I think it's what the team needed. This struggle against a more experienced but less talented opponent has illustrated to the team that they need to execute at 100% against every team they play. Obviously we're gonna get our ass kicked next game if we're not ready to go. I think this game will galvanize the team and give Bubba and co plenty of ass chewing material this week. So I guess in a way is doing poorly this week is a good thing to me.

Should we install the fumbleruski as the staple that replaces the fly sweep?
-
I still say move Smith to WR and run Olivera at RB. Having a four RB rotation will keep them healthy and fresh.
-
I bet we hang 40+ on them. They better not score 14.

that play where Aplin steamrolled two guys was fun to watch. You could just tell that he was ready to tee off on some guys. He could be a secret weapon in the run game this year.

apparently we should have had 3 INTs last game... Maybe this week we'll make it happen.

Apparently we should have had three INTs against WYO. https://m.ticketmaster.com/ticket/fullcart.do?page=tmus&orddagsins=bbs

I think they will compete with us. I want us to wear them out by half time and blow the doors open in the second half. I know I'll be there and having a good time.

2-0 comes first. Lets not get ahead of ourselves even though it has no effect on the field.
-
Maybe Iwarri can move to WR and be the reverse Santiago? I wanted him at wr from the beginning.
-
Yes they are. And no they don't.

I don't think we played to our potential at all against WYO. We left a lot of points on the board and our passing offense left a lot to be desired. Our pass defense was also not good enough. Teams like EWU Montana Montana St and Idaho St who can actually pass will light us up if we don't fix that. The potential of this team is huge, last Saturday was the tip of the iceberg.

what's the deal with Woodsmall?
-
I guess we'll see what our offense can become this year. We need WR to step up.
