1. I hope this means Wisonsin will be improved this season. I like college hockey more when Wisconsin is good. 2. This will end up being a good thing. It's a nice early season wake up call for the team. A little something to keep them grounded and to let them know that there's a good opponent every night regardless of record.

You can also really celebrate a play on the catwalk. Then run and grab a beer before the next kickoff. And it's by far the best view in the house. I got to watch Ratelle do his thing on the goal line last weekend from the best spot in the house, it was great.

I do love watching games from the cat walk area though. It get a lot more rowdy up there. Great views too.

This is true. I can't remember what it was but there was some hangup with some type of contract that held them up last year. They were all set in my neighborhood and all of a sudden disappeared right before the ground even frosted. They've been back recently. We were told we'd have them before last November and have been waiting ever since.

I had no idea how lucky EWU got to escape against Weber until I watched this.... That kicker was lights out against us and missed three in a row in some bad weather

I ask this question every game. Somehow out finesse teams were able to blow kicks up and our pound the rock team can't snif a block.

As a current cableone subscriber and someone waiting for midco to finally be available I can tell you that getting a hockey game is the least of their worries. Cableone is trash. You pay more for less. Midco is such an upgrade its unbelievable. Cableone will crumble in fargo once Midco is available.

I'm more worried about other teams players getting hurt with Ratelle out there on kick coverage.

This is tough, Midco is great and expanding. They've been really good to us and we have the highest production value I've seen of any FCS school. But state wide and national broadcasting would be huge. I just don't want to sacrifice too much production value and look like NDSU, a joke, with the broadcast.

Traditionally we've always put good players on special teams. Thats why we usually win the special teams phase of the game.
