I don't think so.

But, we laid an egg on two consecutive saturdays. That is what is unacceptable. We need to start being competitive in every game. Our D is on the right path and our front 7 is the real deal. Our offense just needs to start clicking or our D may not hold up all season. We need high standards as fans, its a good thing.

I trust coach Knaupf after last season how the line play progressed. He'll make an adjustment if he feels a backup is ready, if not I guess the starters need to step up big time.
-
Francis doesn't play OL any more he had to cut weight and switch to TE because of his knees.
-
Bottom line, no blocking and no separation on passing plays has not been a good look for UND the last game and a half.
-
Feel free to give us a preview of your team, I've always loved playing against Davis since that classic playoff game in 2001.
-
Couldn't find the Davis highlights against USD but the Yotes ran on them pretty good.
-
Here are the highlights from Hawaii. Can't tell much of anything from them but here they are.
-
When did UND chop block a guy from behind? I didn't see it once. Both teams chop block but not from behind.
-
When was the last time you saw someone, untouched, block someone like that from behind and snap their leg. Regardless of intent that is a rare play in football.
-
You've got some serious nerve. Poor little 87 ran clear across the field to blow open a hole for Dunn and gosh darn it he trips, good thing #20 from UND was there to break his fall, with his leg. I was worried 87 might get a hang nail or something the way he tripped.

The reason I want Mollberg to play, when he healthy, is because he can do things that Studsrud will never be able to do. Studsrud throws a nice ball but he can't make all the throws, I've seen a lot of one hops to guys on the sideline routes. Mollberg can actually spin it out to those guys with enough venom. And for those of you saying Studrud has played really well I totally disagree. I get nervous when he passes because he stares down his primary read worse than Dante Culpepper, and he had Moss. I realize that we need better playmakers on the edge but we also need a qb cabable of progressing through his reads and making the throw and being able to handle the pressure. Joe was clutch last year against Montana, big time. He's the guy we need to play.
-
That's the issue. I don't know if he's physically 100% yet. And he'd need to be.
-
Bullsh!t. I've watched the play about 50 times. He didn't touch his hips. Maybe after he broke his leg.
-
We have the key to an offensive turn around. His name is Joe Mollberg and if he's now healthy he's our best QB by a wide margin. He proved it last year. I'm hoping he gets a chance this year because he has the tools to lead our offense instead of being Trent Dilfer 2.0 like Studsrud and just trying to not lose a game by throwing for 60 yards and 0 ints.

Any of our LBs would start. Reyes probably would as well. Adler could possibly at TE. Other than that you're right.
-
Being nice off the field has nothing to do with how you are in a game. I can't tell you how many people that have met me first on the field and second off the field were shocked that I wasnt a complete prick. For some people a switch flips when they put the pads on, I can relate to that. I can also relate to making mistakes on the field.

NDSU was missing their top CB for the Montana game. That made the difference.
-
At first I thought the NDSU player fell and rolled up unintentionally on Arnell. After you posted I was curious so I watched the play a good 15 times, mostly in slow mo, I am now pissed. Arnell was barley moving so the whole bang bang play argument is out the window. This was a cheap chicken shlt play. He didn't even look back at the result of his "block" just trotted back like nothing happened. I hope we see them in the playoffs.
-
We actually had a ball hit Johnson in the hands so the quote "there were no passes close to picks" isn't what I would call accurate.
-
I know the crowd had a good impact on the game yesterday and that NDSU has a good front 7 but my goodness our offense was bad. The OL did not get the job done for the second week in a row. We have a young team but at some point they need to use their experience and start playing like veterans. I don't think NDSU has a good enough d to hold us to only 9 points, both off of huge special teams plays, and 3 first downs. We need playmakers on the outside bad. Nobody was getting open when we did pass and have time. I still think Mollberg is better, but if we go with Studsrud it'd be nice if the OL and WR would help him succeed.

He's the only guy that said Drake would be good. Good for the pioneer and good are different things.
-
I predict that we will see a UND team that we haven't seen yet this year, or in years for that matter. Hair will be on fire.

Yup, the article should have been titled "Bulliten Board Material For UND" http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-football/3842568-kevin-schnepf-much-1980s-you-can-expect-bison-win-over-und Lets just say the players are aware.
