    And lose a ton of revenue potential. Tickets, donations, and sponsors are what can set football apart from the other sports, same with womens hockey. Step one for digging football out of the red is/was winning. That's on it's way already. The second step is the donations and sponsorships side. Winning helps bring back interest and investment.

    Hmm how do I put this..... UND women's hockey as a top 5 program drew jack !@#$ while UND football in the worst stretch in 30 years with a lame duck coach still out drew the women's hockey team 8 fold at least. Oh, and the football tickets actually cost money, so there's that. Football will be in the black soon. Women's hockey will always be in the red.

    WHockey isn't holding football back. Football held itself back by hiring the wrong coach and letting him run the program into the ground. Whockey is holding the basketballs and volleyball back.

    And it cost them the game. Southern teams will never learn to value a good kicker it seems.

    CSU didn't play that well last night either and they still hung in there and had a shot at a walk off field goal. They looked like a playoff team to me. Injuries could take them down though, they had at least 3 guys on crutches before the game was over.

    They don't have CJ Smith. The guys they have will improve no doubt but I didn't see a cb with that it factor like their guys the past few years have had.

    The CBs are not as good as last year, at all.

    People "like" my UND shirt. Tons of "im a bizun football and Und hockey fan" people. My Bucs almost got the job done. Their d is a little smallish but very quick and great tacklers. Just to clarify I didn't head south for this game I live in fargo for now. I wouldn't waste the gas even for free tickets when UND isn't playing.

    I'm at the game. Crowd isn't that loud. Neither team is sharp. Geaux Bucs!

    Playing in front of a tiny crowd sucks. One of the best parts of the experience is when the fans show their appreciation for all of the hard work you put in by comin to your games and cheering loud.

    These women have the opportunity to get steamrolled by programs that have better funding in most sports at UND. Sounds like a great opportunity. Or they could cut women's hockey which offers almost zero opportunity no matter how good you are and move those dollars to sports that actually do provide an opportunity. And what would you tell the baseball team? How was their opportunity to suck any different than the "girls".

    They play at our level which is the level I care more about.
