This is by far the most important spring of the D1 era. Who will be our next qb? Will the defense rebound? Will the offense exist? There are tons of juicy position battles to watch and plenty of young talent that should push the veterans. Looking forward to hearing reports from those who can make it to a practice.

In the last 15 or so years it seems our pp success is dependent on trancendant talent instead of solid aggressive tactics. It’s brutal to watch when we don’t have multiple first rounders out there.

I do, though, miss the old days when I could look forward to our guys smashing the other team over and over until they didn’t want to play anymore. Unfortunately the game has changed and that level of physicality is no longer able to produce success. This team isn’t skilled enough or physical enough. Have to hang you hat on one or the other, or preferably both, but this years team is neither.

Sioux hockey is a style of play not a nickname. Haven’t seen any Sioux hockey this year. 2016 was full of Sioux hockey even though they were the Fighting Hawks. The reason people lived the nickname was because of how the teams played wearing that name not the other way around.

Murphy was an absolute bastard tonight for Central against rr. He’s a terrific athlete and very physical. Hopefully he can get big enough for lb.

I’ve heard the twins haven’t been happy with him as coach for a while now.

Kuntz was really impressive for the rats last night. Really smooth and great awareness and anticipation. The Rats as a whole have a lot of talent and huge size but don’t play great defense though. That may cost them tonight.

Personally I love the attitude. That’s a winners attitude. She went to the Olympics for one reason, to win.

What was with the US coach? Why split the twins up in OT and then why not use them in the first 5 shooters? That’s just stupid.

The twins have carried the team late in the game. Other players need to step it up if they want to win.

I really want to watch the twins be allowed to check.
