At one point, early in the second half, the d came on the field and you could see they were pissed off. Guys were barking at each other, not in the negative way, but in the, “they aren’t scoring on us again” way. And they delivered. I think we are our entire team embody that on Saturday.

I was at the game. We did not get our asses kicked. We had 4 backbreaking mistakes and still had two drives in the 4th quarter to win the game. We played terrible in the first half for sure, but get our asses kicked we did not. USD wanted it more at the start and Jerry played terrible. Throw in a punt block for a safety and a fumble in the red zone returned for a TD and that makes it pretty difficult to win. The way we played d in the second half, we can win any game. Just need to offense to do their job next game.

This has been bothering me every game. Our scoring d average is very misleading. The 2 deep has been great. Big picture, the young guys getting those reps is more valuable than the box score though. I want to see them start to bow up though. Murray St is their next opportunity.
