  1. If Weber wins tonight, Weber will play @ (lame) Northern Iowa on saturday
  2. They have our score vs Air Force wrong, the real score was 78-57 but who's counting? Weber will host the winner of the Oral Roberts/UC Irvine game on wednesday.
  3. Wow, I can't believe we won that game, UND is LEGIT to the CORE. When we were down 12 with 16 left and all the momentum in your guys' favor, I was getting sick, I'm glad Weber was able to come from behind. I never really had any doubts about UND's invitation to the Big Sky glad I was right, North Dakota to the Big Sky was 100% brilliant. Glad I could come on here and talk with all you guys, you have all been very classy and knowledgeable fans. I enjoy coming on here and chatting with you guys. You guys are gonna be very scary good next year. Congrats on the great season, hopefully it's not over and you guys get invited to a post season tourney. I would say see you this fall, but we don't play a football game till 2014. So see you next hoops season.
  4. Congrats on the win, gonna be a great semi-final game tomorrow.
  5. After our last trip to the Dance in Rahe's first year, the Wildcats have had an injury plague, over the next 5 years Weber State's teams suffered injuries like crazy, including Lillard, also we have had a few major choke jobs in two straight hosted tournaments, MSU in 08 beat us and then in 09 Anthony Johnson for UM went off for 40+ points and led the Griz back from a 20 point halftime deficit. We Webercats are ITCHING for another Tournament Berth
  6. It's funny how they say NAU's title chances are non-existing, even after they would have beaten Weber State, I think they would be more than able to beat Montana if they were able to beat Weber
  7. Yes it would, because that would also mean that Weber won today
  8. Anybody on this board think it's kinda ironic that the two newest members to the Big Sky Conference will be facing off in the first round of the first Big Sky tourney visit for both of them? I think that's kinda cool.
  9. Before SUU and UND joined, the Qrt final games where on bigskytv only, the semi's were on altitude, and the championship game was on one of the ESPNs. I dont actually know what the plans are for this year, I wouldnt be suprised to see altitude pick the semi final games up again, Root went lame duck on us so I dont expect them to pick them up. The only post season game that the Big Sky website has being televised is the championship game by ESPNU
  10. Anything is possible come conf tourney time, you can almost scrap the reg season, you will get a 100% effort from everyone in the tournament, it insantly becomes a dogfight
  11. Since only 7 teams maki it to the conf tournament, the #1 team get's a first round bye, and will face the lowest remaining seed in the semi's Here is a scenario Round 1 #1 Montana vs BYE #2 Weber State vs #7 Northern Arizona #3 North Dakota vs #6 Southern Utah #4 Northern Colorado vs #5 Montana State Then the teams are re-seeded. The highest remaining seed plays the lowest remaining seed, so if teams 1-4 all win in round 1 #1 Montana vs #4 Northern Colorado #2 Weber State vs #3 North Dakota Lets say, if NAU beat Weber, North Dakota beat SUU and MSU beat UNC you'd get #1 Montana vs #7 N. Arizona #3 North Dakota vs #5 Montana State So basically, highest remaining seed always plays the lowest and so on and so forth from there
  12. Weber loses Scott Bamforth and Frank Otis
  13. I think I'll just stick to watching the games to trying to predict them
  14. I think I'm gonna have to make a few slight changes to my BSC tournament picks. #1 Weber State #2 Montana #3 North Dakota #4 Montana State #5 Southern Utah #6 Northern Arizona #7 Northern Colorado
  15. I used to gripe ( ok still do ) when Weber would have to play on the west coast because of the extra hour I would have to wait to watch them play, I could just imagine how you guys feel when UND has to play on the west coast.
  16. We actually averaged 6,493 last year which was actually the first time since 2002 we averaged over 6,000. We are currently averaging 6,568 And not to toot our own horn, but Weber State owns the 22nd highest winning percentage in the nation. ESPN also had Weber State at #39 in thier top 50 college basketball programs http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/62583/50-in-50-rankings-no-39-weber-state
  17. Love the Dee, it usually gets around 5-7K which is half capacity, so it always looks empty but the fans make up for it with noise. We have had 7K crowds make more noise than 10K+ crowds. And it wouldn't be the first time an opposing team cut down the nets in our arena in march -enter face palm smiley here-
  18. Dont know if my heart could take losing at home in the tournament again
  19. My predictions #1 Weber State (yes UM loses at either MSU or SUU, not both and Weber claims reg season) Quarters #2 Montana vs # 7 Montana State #3 Southern Utah vs #6 Sacramento State #4 North Dakota vs # 5 Northern Arizona (tough game to pick) Semi's #1 Weber State vs #4 North Dakota # 2 Montana vs # 3 Southern Utah Championship #1 Weber State vs #2 Montana Champion Weber State a little biased?...............maybe
  20. After the first round, in previous BSC tournaments, the highest remaining seed would play the lowest remaining seed so........ # 1 Montana BYE #4 SUU #5 MSU #3 UND #6 Sac State #2 Weber #7 UNC The Second round could look like this #1 Montana vs #4 Southern Utah #2 Weber State vs #3 North Dakota
  21. One thing I did like about the bracketbusters was that it was a good way of getting teams to come to Weber that we would not normaly be able to get here.
