How many TCOS did UND have last year again? From one weekend to the next they learned how to rebound from adversity. Get Jones back in the lineup, and keep moving forward.

The upside is getting some mojo before Duluth and Denver. In one way I'm glad they're coming in mad and ideally extra motivated, as history says it's almost a guarantee they have a clunker. Hopefully last weekend against a good WMU squad was it... Much better than doing it this weekend.

UND has had bad luck losing burners to injury over the last several years as well. Clive and Izzy immediately come to mind, but I know there were a few more.

Worst loss (by points) of the season, for the game they needed most. That says a lot.

It's true, a few first downs would cure that, but even when the play is blocked well, the ball is overthrown or dropped. Still a chance crazy enough.

What's happening with the OL? Pass protection and run blocking have regressed from early in the year. Injuries? Season wearing on them? They can be better, but last few games haven't been.

They threw deep twice on that drive...the pass game has no confidence in itself. Kett has put one pass on the mark today. Not good.

Brutal throw on that INT. Way over his head.

Good to see Maag and Santiago in the offense early. Need them healthy.

Basically, an injury or guy slow to get up. It shouldn't be but still apparently is.

Friday: Jasper Saturday: Adams

Winning at least 6 straight faceoffs to end the game was the difference. There's so little movement by the PP unit though. It's not that hard to cover when guys are standing still. Gotta keep the feet moving and find the open guy. So many positives by this team lately though. Top to bottom, they grind opponents out and are starting to know their linemates. Possession is fantastic. Big test in Oxford next weekend.

Idaho showing a lot of speed on D. Getting through the line and easily covering UND's WRs.

Felt like there were two holds on that jump ball toss as well. That's annoying.

They need to call a couple short routes. Kett needs to get into a rhythm.

Those possession numbers trotted out after the first Mav game were no joke. UND dominated territorially most of the game tonight. They were hard on pucks and won a lot of races. Need to find that scoring touch for the forwards, but they're in position. Great win.

Skating hard and fast is key. There was plenty of it in the first. Good period.

Every team has now seen that UND doesn't defend the zone read worth a damn. Both ISU and Weber took full advantage. UND front 7 has to be better at reading those plays.

It's definitely tough, and if it's the 40 I go as well. Gotta keep rushing. James and Brady are making some headway now.

There was clearly more polish on the kato side. Most of their goals were off the rush. I was encouraged by our speed in the offensive zone. The guys won a lot of races. Need to bear down and put it all together. There were some real bad reads by Thome, and I'd bet Scheel gets the start tonight.
