Bloody Marys Not my thing. I'm kind of a beer snob. I love very good beer and I love good whiskey/bourbon. Not a lot of other alcohols that I'm a huge fan of. Hogsbreath is pretty far for me because I'm with 7 others. If anyone here wants to meet me in downtown St. Paul tho I'd be more than happy. I'll be tailgating by 10am at the absolute latest Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Is that the new term for being hungover now? I'll be sure to use that for school one day Never heard of it but it may be a possibility. I was thinking of going to Town Hall Brewery to eat Saturday morning/very early afternoon, but I may be able to make an exception if invited. They have amazing food and VERY amazing beer at Town Hall.

Honestly, if you met me in person you'd see that I'm probably one of the most realistic, non-biased college hockey fans you'll ever meet, even though I do love the Gophers. Correct. 20 conference games in the Big Ten. This would definitely be a terrible year for the Big Ten if it were in play. Minnesota would be the only team in unless Wisconsin keeps up its current pace or a team other than Minnesota won the conference tournament. Most years the conference will probably end up getting 2 or 3 teams into the tournament. 4 would be damn near a miracle IMO. Don't forget, the NCHC won't ever look quite as strong as it does right now in the PWR either because all of those teams are going to be playing each other. When they play each other someone has to lose and some teams are going to have to be at the bottom of the conference. With that said I'd still expect an average of 3 or 4 NCHC teams in the NCAA's every year with the rare but possible occurrence of 5.

It's so easy to tell Roman doesn't care about hockey . Pretty obvious they assigned him to it since a lot of their other sports writers are fully dedicated to the more popular sports.

As much as I like to criticize Schlossman for ignoring this type of stuff as much as possible, which in this case seems quite possible, I will say a little bit. He's not an investigative reporter, so in reality he may have just never even thought of looking back at it. Or maybe he kept looking but they took so long to file he just stopped looking and never thought of looking back. I had no idea the charges were actually filed until it was posted on here, just that they said there "might" be charges right after it happened. So like I said, it is quite possible that he just didn't know. However, it's also very possible that he chose to ignore it as long as it wasn't in the publics eye so that he can keep in the good graces of the hockey program. I wouldn't doubt the SID telling him to ignore it unless the public takes notice of it one bit. I also wouldn't doubt him just deciding not to follow up on it because its a bad mark on the program and a distraction that may not appeal to his readers. Although a story like that would probably be quite easily the most read story of his for the year because it will be more than just UND hockey fans reading it. Then again, one would have to assume he was just pushing it off as long as the public didn't really know about it, because its guaranteed that he's known since the files were charged. I say that because he's far to close to the athletic department and the SID not to know about it. Not a big deal, though. Now that people are starting to talk about it I'm sure we'll be seeing a story on it soon.

Regarding BC, they're devastated by injuries right now. Lots of guys out. But for them to get swept by this years Maine team while playing at home is borderline pathetic. I have a buddy who lives out in Maine so he really enjoyed it and has been texting me like crazy. He said with all the injuries BC has they look like a completely different team, even with Gaudreau still playing. Another crazy stat: He said that this is the first time BC has been swept at home since January 23, 1993. I don't know if that's correct or not, but if it is then all I have to say is holy s---!

I believe so. They also broadcast South Dakota high school football in HD. My friends brother in law works for Midco too and he said South Dakota got the HD first because that's where the company started.

HAHAHAHA. I wish there was a better laughing smiley because I bursted out laughing at this and it caused my girlfriend to give me a weird look I was laughing so hard.

May have beaten bad teams but they're still in the top 16 in the PWR. They're not a bad team by any means. Much better than past years.

I'm not on here very long when I'm on. I only check a couple threads unless I have absolutely nothing to do and need to kill time. I like talking college hockey with people that like college hockey. GPL and SS are probably the 2 best. USCHO gets ridiculous. I'm obviously not here to cause trouble so I guess I don't know see why it bothers you so much.

Don't see it happening anytime soon. Grew up in East Grand Forks. There's actually quite a few Gopher fans there. I grew up in a family of Gopher fans and was watching them on TV as far back as I can remember.

Regarding Bjugstad, I do believe he is one of the 2 best players in college hockey this year for sure. His points aren't showing it because he's basically molested by other opponents, but what he does while on the ice to control play on most of his shifts is unreal. It would be very hard to find someone in college hockey that can control play and be as dominant as he is. Gaudreau is probably the only other player that can be put up there with Bjugstad, IMO.

That was definitely UND's worst pairing throughout the series. They were getting pushed around the ice by the Minnesota forwards instead of doing the pushing.

Wasn't Kristo something like a -6 this weekend?
