Exactly. You look at UND's best forwards and they're also often out on the ice during the PK. I didn't pay close enough attention to know whether he was out there or not, but I struggle to imagine Connor as effective on the PK.

I know Midco has agreements in place with many smaller regional cable providers in the area as well (except cableone in Fargo). Typically, the channel is only available with an upgraded sports package on those other providers though.

BigSkyTV shouldn't prevent UND from signing a football (or any other sport) agreement with one of the local network stations. The Midco deal for all sports is what prevented ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. from picking up the games.

They're only getting $70K in the AHL, not that $70K is nothing to someone fresh out of college.

Late to the party on this one, but I see the CCM line went -7 against UND, as they were on the ice for 4 of the 5 Nodak goals. They may be very dangerous on offense, but all talk of them being the "best" line in college hockey should be thrown out the window, IMO.

Meh, lots of anger, little substance. Like you've said several times, whichever conference has UND will be the better conference, at least in the near term. In the long term, the B1G will grow stronger. Can you imagine the NCHC tourney without UND? The NCHC is currently the more competitive conference, but it appears the UND fans are the only ones in the NCHC who care.
