The last time we hosted USD for the Potato Bowl we beat them 52-3. Here's to a similar result this weekend, which will improve our record against the yotes to 61-29-2 and extend their winless streak in Grand Forks. Note: I don't think we win by 50, just hoping we dominate the trenches and pull out the W.

My take on REA expenses: MIH: 45%WIH: 39.5% (less staff required) MBB: 5% (bball court doesn't cost much to freeze, nor are the staff attempting to host concerts in the Betty) WBB: 5%WVB: 5%WSoc: 0.5% ($12,000 for a locker room seems like plenty)

Just feel like it cheapens the sport. I'm glad they got donations for it rather than giving out a tuition waiver, but I'd prefer those donations be used to help deserving students or improve the game for those who want to be there. If the eventual result is students learning to enjoy and stay for the entire game regardless of the scholarships (and we get rid of them), then I'll be able to accept the money was well invested.
